These Tea Parties need to have the goal of enforcing states rights. 10th amendment proposals would be a great start, to come out of these parties. Create a forum to discuss limitations of federal government powers, and a way to convert our current tax structure into something that actually works, and get it drafted for vote in the state Legislature.
Yesterday, the columbus ohio teaparty had about 100 at the state capitol and was covered for about 30 seconds on the local news.
One good sign was “Hey Obama, who will pay my mortgage ?” “Oh that’s right, I am”
If you can’t get to a tea party, you can send your sentiments by going to the following website, printing out the tea bags and Freeping all the politicians you can by US Mail for normal postage.

Great picture. I especially like the “Live Free or Die” poster. Ever notice how at conservative protests, the people all look so nice and friendly? No riots, no looting, no broken store fronts? Just nice old fashioned patriotic Americans. Good to know there are so many out there.....I just love the beaming proud smile on the gal with the Live Free or Die sign. God Bless her real good! What a gem!
Another example of a great American. I gotta get to one of those protests and be with my peeps! Like the sign says “taxes are killing us”. It’s so true. Our property taxes here in WI are horrible. No wonder the retired folks flee to low tax states.
