I have to say - this is a terrific column. But then again, he has so much raw material to work with.
Here is a personal observation. In the weeks following the election up until about a month ago I could hear my liberal neighbors in coffee shops and other establishments declaiming loudly about how wonderful the world would be with Bush out and Obama in.
It has now gone very quiet.
Heh! Clever! But, I agree, the average reader wouldn’t get it. I know that if I had shown it to my mother, I know she’d say, “Yeah, that damn Bush!”
