I tried to tell you freepers last Fall this would happen ala 1993. OHHH the moaning and hand wringing after McCain lost. This would not have happened if McCain won with the demo congress at all. In 2010 democrats will have a big loss. But I still dont trust CURRENT Republicans in total power after Bush. They are only a little better than the democrats.

I dont know any physicians who want to jump into the arms of a single payer. I have long said and many of my colleagues agree that the day we have single payer health care is the day I retire. Fans of nationalized health care in the medical profession are few and far between. We already have to work with medicare and medicaid - trust me no one wants to see all health care turned into medicare.

I was a wishy washy teenager when Jimmy Carter became President. He made me a man and a Republican. 0bama can do the same for others.

Back then Americans had a taste of freedom. They knew what it was. Today, the majority of lefties have never known freedom and are afraid of it. They intuitively know that there will be no one there to hold their hand. Far too frightening for them to contemplate voting against the govt. teat.

GM has to make crap battery-powered windup cars; mortgage lenders have to give a house to the local crack dealer; and colleges have to admit blazingly incompetent students to fill diversity quotas.
