The crazies are coming out of the woodwork, its at this time of the year and certain historical birthdays of figures of notoriety that makes these individuals more insane.

Lock and load people.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Police have responded to the MTSU campus after reports that a man with a gun was seen entering a building.

Witnesses reported seeing the man running into the Keathley University Center (KUC) around 5:20 p.m. Monday. The building was being evacuated.

A text message went out to student around 5:30 p.m., saying "Man with a gun seen entering KUC. Evacuate KUC or secure in place."

The man was described as a college-age black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 175 pounds. He has dark hair and was reported wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and was heavily tattooed.

Officials said the man was seen driving a dark-colored Chevy Impala with a Tennessee license plate. Police had information that the man may live in the Nottingham Apartments just off campus on Greenland Drive.

Was he 'brandishing' it, or was it in his holster and his shirt fluttered in the wind, exposing it to the view of a horrified liberal pansy?

Makes a big difference.

This happened at Arizona State University, too.
Problem is, the ‘man’ was actually a military formation of drilling ROTC cadets and the person reporting the ‘man’ was a hoplophobe.

So let’s say I return to college and carry a loaded handgun in my purse, along with my state’s CCW permit. And let’s say an armed gunman storms my classroom, and I’m able to get off a couple of shots and kill him. Am I the one headed for jail if my campus is gun-free? Just wondering, because if I ever do return to a university campus, I plan on carrying.

I know plenty who carried at MTSU. Let’s hope it’s not someone with ill intent.
