Cogratulations and thanks to Cpl Jan Scruggs on another brilliant tribute to Vietnam Veterans, who are and who have always been my Heroes.

And congatulations also for the selection of “Magnum PI”/Tom Selleck as spokesman — one of the few in Hollywood who has not blotted his copybook and who has enough Credibility to be a suitable representative for this great cause.

I look forward to my next trip to DC when this will — with any luck — be finished and awaiting inspection.

And to all Vietnam Veterans: God Bless, and Thankyou. The kids in my neighborhood were always grateful to our Heroes back in the ‘70’s, even if the adults weren’t. And we still are.
