Good afternoon, Es...((HUGS))...yes you do know ash. We didn’t get hit really hard, but there is ash EVERYWHERE! There were predicions of high winds last night, but it didn’t blow here. A friend on the west side of town said all the ash at her house has blown away. What I really want is to open a window. The sun is trying to come out, but I can’t see the mountains yet.

This report 20 minutes ago....2009-03-29 12:32:26

Radar suggests that Redoubt may have produced a steam plume to 25,000 feet above sea level at approximately 11:20 AKDT. Seismicity has increased over the past hour.

The last eruption was about 7:20p last night.

So, with no lava - it's beginning to look like Mt. Redoubt just has indigestion and an upset tummy...

Ma, hopefully the activity is already lessen by this time.
Remember the other day that I told you about the excessive pollen? At first I thought it was ash.......hehehe
Can you believe this; the other day we had a 5.6 earthquake in the middle of the night and I didn't even wake up.....yep.

So, I'm right there with you Ma. I know you will be just fine.

*HUGS*
