..But they won’t require the Pres__ent to prove he was born there.

Or photo ID's to vote.

Now the we have Government Motors they will hardwire a system into every brainbox on new cars that will tattletell if its disconnected or tampered with, commercial trucks have this system already in use, a smaller compact system will be on cars eventually.

Highways will have sensors that will notify an authority if your car doesn’t communicate or is feeding information of the type that says the care is illegally on the road. Over the road truckers have been using this for years.

First it will be on tollways, then interstates.

And we will not have to wait for the far future where we get into our car and it tells us we have only so many driving points available, it will be forced upon us by the future fascist leaders of America.

Right, the state can’t or won’t enforce the laws, so let’s make a private business responsible for enforcement and not pay that business for doing the job. Turn that convenience store part time clerk into a DMV enforcer and Insurance Commission investigator.

They are already enforcing state laws about alcohol and cigarettes so nothing new

LOL. More insanity. I wish some of these lawmakers would spend some time trying to get rid of some of the inane laws that have been forced on the people vs. trying to outdo each other coming up with new ones that aren’t well thought out.

Used to have to prove proof of insurance in Georgia to renew one’s tag. Now we don’t.

How about having the tag belong to the person who initially purchases it and verifies citizenship and insurance at that time and the tag must travel with the person from car to car. And increase fines and add jail time to someone who steals a car tag.

But better yet . . . why not just ENFORCE THE LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS???

Oh, that’s too simple, isn’t it?

Impeach The Bowing Clown Barry 0bama!

so the illegal is going to buy insurance for the days he needs gas?

Watch for auto insurance branch offices opening up at a gas station near you soon.

Oregon requires proof of insurance to get a new tag.
Too, for the last approximately 15 years, proof of insurance has been required if stopped by a cop.
If that can’t be proven, the car is left by the side of the road.

However, until recently, illegals have been allowed to get driver’s licenses.
That was changed when the federal government deemed Oregon to be a national security risk.

Oregon is a whacky state.

I wouldn’t mind that here in Texas to get some of the illegals off the road for just a little while.

The “thrill” of being hit by some beaner who doesn’t claim to speak a word of english and has no insurance is not to be forgotten.

Of course it would only work for a week or so before one of their buddies somewhere would counterfit the cards like they do the insurance certificates.

“Chainsaw Wielding Lawnmower Gang Wreaks Havoc...”

They were mowing down everything in sight, one eyewitness wailed. And indiscriminately lopping off limbs, Branch Security reported. Angry townspeople were chanting, There ought to be a law...

You are just flat out wrong with that statement.
Your “proof of insurance” is in the state’s computer
database and it is verified when you renew your tag.

I live in the Washington, D.C. metro area and I have heard the spanish radio and TV stations run ads for car insurance “sin papeles,” among other things — so that dog won’t hunt. Texas is another place where I have seen and heard such ads.

“Sin papeles” is shorthand spanish that means without papers, ie, a legal visa or resident alien card, a green card, or other proof of legal presence in the United States.

Aha.

sin papeles = sans papers

Meaning illegal immigrants.
