Finely tuned anything produced by random processes defies credibility?

Check out “directed evolution” of enzymes for industrial usage. They utilize randomly generated DNA change and a strict selection mechanism to “design” a finely tuned protein product to accomplish a task.

Obviously you know less about the utility of randomness in a design process than you pretend.

==No, but I’ve read the arguments for the premise.
It still comes down to an argument for intelligent design, but only as far as it remains consistent with biblical creationism.

Then whoever boiled the arguments down for you didn’t do a very good job. Priv. Planet assumes that the Earth is billions of years old. Does that sound like the authors keep their argument only go “as far as it remainst consistent with biblical creation”?

No it doesn't. I am a little puzzled by your willingness to consider it a plausible idea.

I could see how you might be. I think ID makes some excellent arguments for design, but they go astray when they depart from the historical account God gave us in the Bible. I just came across an article the fleshes this out a bit more if you’re interested.

All the best—GGG
