HELENA Montana-made guns may form the basis for a court showdown over states' rights if the governor signs a bill to release some firearms in the state from federal regulation.
The proposed law aims to exempt firearms, weapons components and ammunition made in Montana and kept in Montana from federal gun laws. Since the state has few gun laws of its own, the legislation would allow some gunowners and sellers in the state to skirt registration, licensing requirements and background checks entirely...

Very serious question: When the fed/fascists (or whoever owns it) try to take over the nation, how will all the individuals with their own guns and ammo, communicate to join forces? How will you know who to trust?
Typical Leftist convoluted thinking.....
The discussion concerned intent of the individual farmer....the result was determined by “If every farmer should”....
The result, the determination indicates there was an agenda.
When talking about a fellow member,(in reply #46), it's customary to ping him, which I've done with this reply.
“Gee, I didn’t think there was a federal gun registration and licensing requirement?”
I think you could call the Form 4473 a de-facto registration. Some gun store owners share the information freely with anyone who shows a badge and says they are investigating a crime. Not by just looking up a serial number either but allowing them to browse through the records.
IIRC, when a FFL goes out of business, Form 4473s must be turned into the ATF, who keep them to trace firearms used in a crime. I don’t doubt they are used legitimately at the ATF (most of the time) but the potential is there for abuse. And several states now want the Federal Govt to share that information with them through an online database.

Very serious answer: If you don’t know who to trust, you can’t trust anyone.
I wonder if Montana could handle an exodus of millions?
Gardiner doesn’t look too bad. Neither does Ekalaka.
I would imagine if you have experience in the construction industry, with the massive exodus of people looking to get away from Fedzilla, plenty of work would be had for a little while.
“Good for Montana; enforce the 2nd and 10th amendment.”
Exactly and more states need to do the same.
They will now.
Ping
It’s cold in the winter and freaking HOT in the summer in the whole state.
Please ~ping~ me to articles relating to the 10th Amendment/States Rights so I can engage the pinger.
I've stopped scouring threads and unilaterally adding names to the ping list, so if you want on or off the list just say so.
