This has become a trick with DNC candidates. They will claim to stay “above the fray” when it comes to their opponents personal life and personalities. They can because the press does the job for them

Great post. The Leftist Media is an arm of the DNC, hiding stories of corrupt Liberal politicians and exacerbating ANYTHING negative about Conservatives, real or imagined.

The coverage of the Tea Parties is exemplary of the hardcore Marxist ideology of the Media. It's easy to see when you see who the editors and owners of these corporations are, far Left radical, America-hating Communists. They despise the system and country that provides them creature comforts they could never imagine in any other nation on earth, yet they still hate it.

We need to pool our money and buy some of these dying Liberal platforms (TV, radio, print) and get a foothold back into the media.

Olbermann grates me to the point I want to vomit, so does Matthews, Maddow, Couric, Williams, Charlie Rose...the Lefty list goes on and on...

We were the 3rd story on the tv local news here in the SF Bay Area. They covered the local, and also had a screen split into four showing parties in four other states. I felt the coverage was decent.

I couldn't agree more. The media is no longer reporting the story, they are becoming the story.

I believe a nongovernmental organization should be set up to “rate” news organizations and personalities. This organization would be setup in a similar way to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) is for rating movies. If a news program/network/reporter wants to be registered as unbiased this organization would apply standards to qualify. A news organization could have both registered unbiased reporters and pundits(biased), but would have to apply a graphic that identifies each as they speak/report/preach.

The only way for the media to move in this direction would be if people were to start protesting the media. Chants of “bias” and “join the (what ever name this organization becomes)” should be in the background of every on-site broadcast. News organizations should be picketed. Everyone being interviewed should first ask “are you a member of ____.”

I believe this would renew integrity in journalism while maintaining the free speech rights of everyone.

Nice post BobJ. But I can’t help but think that Obamaby, Hilliary and the like ARE my enemies, as well as the media. they are one in the same.

Agree. The left is a a comglomeration of small cults and the media is the bull horn for some great omnipotent leader or cause which they mindlessly rally to. If we attack Obama mindlessly like the talk radio blabbermouths then the media rallies the cult to the “great leader’s” defense and we accomplish very little. It is the cultists who need to be singled out for criticism and ostracism not the “great leader.”

If we really wanted to wake up the world, we'd stop organizing for media attention and start organizing for impact.

I appreciate the teaparties very much, but it was a given that they would be ignored by our elected officials and impugned by the MSM. We need to start forcing them to hear the people.

Absolutely dead-bang on, Bob! The lame-stream (think urine) media is another enemy. We have many. :o)

Usually, I man my post at the keyboard, finding out the real deal and the video, as appropriate, to back it up; then, I email it to all my friends and family. Some of them don’t have the time to fish for the real news. Most of them know they are getting spin, but they just don’t know how much news they’re not hearing about AT ALL.

Deception and lies die under the light of information and truth. We must all take on the responsibility of educating those around us, imho.

We need to boycott the advertisers imo. Starting with MSNBC since they seem to have the least amount of veiwers and GE is already hurting, they may be the easiest to roll over. Demand they fire madcow, olberdork, etc. or run them out of business completely. Then we move on to CNN. Hit em one at a time. Such a campaign though takes a lot of organizing to spread the word and I don’t know that we have the structure(media) to pull it off.
