CNN's Susan Roesgen went nuts on the air Wednesday at a Chicago tea party, blaming everything (accurately) on Fox News. But maybe she was angry because Fox turned her down for a jobtwice!
Roesgen got snippy with a crazy interviewee while trying to cover the tea partiers, and the crowd turned on her. "I think you get the general tenor of this," she said. "It's anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox."
Back in 2005, though, according to a Fox News source, Roesgen really wanted to work for that right-wing conservative network. She sent a tape of her on-air work to Fox's then-programming chief Kevin Magee in January 2005, and followed up with another reel to Magee's successor Bill Shine in September 2005. Needless to say, she didn't get the gig.

That CNN hasn’t fired Roesgen for being an idiot and an embarrassment says a lot about their lack of journalistic integrity. Roesgen isn’t fit to read the hog markets on some AM station in the sticks.
Her famous nip slip at Mardi Gras when she was a NOLA anchor.
Something does need to be said here and it is a warning for any of you who bring posters to a protest.
Whatever you write you own. If you say Bambi is a Fascist, you better have facts to back it up. Conservatives don’t go on emotion. We go on facts. Which leads me to believe that the first protester with the Obama is a Fascist sign was a plant.
Just so happens Rosege found the one protester out of thousands who could only come up with, “He’s a Fascist because he’s a Fascist.” How about he’s a Fascist because his administration is taking over businesses? How about he’s a Fascist because he is shutting down free speech and denigrating religion and the opposition?
The fact that this protester couldn’t even come up with those points leads me to believe that he was a plant.
aHHHH, turned down by Fox eh? Jealous and angry. Well, evidently she proved at the tea party by her behavior why exactly She wasn’t good enough for FOX. Well, that’s all settled now. FOX...right again!!!!
She’s not SMART enough to be on FOX ...
Cook is a moron.
I never heard about the TEA Parties on Fox News. I will admit that I don't watch much TV anymore. But, I learned about TEA Parties from watching the Rick Santelli Rant, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZB4taSEoA , “Mr. President! Are you listening now?
I sent a box of tea within 10 minutes of hearing that rant.
Then on Sweetness and Light, Newsmax, CNS, Free Republic, Savage, WND and Dr. Jack Wheeler the fire was lit.
Everyone thought about a TEA Party at the same time.
So Susan is mealy mouth, mousy haired, idiot savant.
Cook is an idiot and Roesgen should become a professor at Evergreen State College in WA state and teach the masses how to protest in front of bulldozers.
A man divided against himself cannot stand!
Bingo! I wish more of us can take notice of this and always look for them.
"Is that a grenade in your pocket Billy or are you just happy to see me ya big terrorist lug."
Hear Jean. Gara. who is on ‘24’ today. She brands all people who protest ala the Tea Parties, as racists who just hate a black guy in the WH. Nothing about the issues, nothing about Obama’s socialist pacifist agenda, nothing about the fact that all sorts of ethnic and racial groups showed at the Tea groups. MSNBC and NBC is simply so hateful and racist themselves(against any white conserv, Pub or Christian)that they have lost any of Tim or Tom’s journalistic fairness.
Yes. So it’s the same woman? (I’d say “lady”, but... well, you know...)
See Post 43. Same chick. I think there was video, but am not sure if it’s still available.
Gawker apparently has Janeane Garofalo disease. It’s head is so far up its rectum, it is starved for oxygen.
Thank the Lord for Fox and the Internet.
Well, what do *YOU* call the firing of Rick Wagoner?
Disgruntled ex-wannabe employee syndrome.
Put her on “the list” with the Veterans and Conservatives.
Glad to hear Fox rejected her. She forgot the job of a reporter - to ask questions and get info. Instead it was all about ‘her opinions’ and her bad temper.
Hope her vacation means FIRED!
She is an advocate, not a reporter.
She likely thought that she would get a promotion out of it.
