We are now up to 623 cities, and can document no less than 687,000 and as many as 793,000 patriots took place in the greatest grass roots act of protest since 1773!

EVERY state in the Union protested Washington D.C.'s tax and spend scheme.

You can check to see if your tea party is listed HERE if not, post a comment on This Thread citing the city, state and headcount.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

He still got to speak his crap, in full, at their event.

The crowd couldn’t even orgainzie a loud chant of “hyp·o·crite” to drown him out.

Hey, Jim, haven't seen you since:

FRepers Pay Tribute to Ronald Reagan

But I'll be seeing you in D.C.!

We've had an enormous amount of help from hundreds of FReepers who have contributed to our list. Free Republic IS the best site on the web!

Thanks again to both you and John.

Glad to hear you’ve seen AF1 and Marine One. I went there RIGHT after it opened, and it wasn’t all quite finished yet. Everything was done, but when I went into the Irish pub, they weren’t serving beer yet!

Did they ever actually start selling beer, or did they just put the taps in for show? I would love to have a pint in there, and toast RWR.

since the state run media declares tea parties a pubby thing, perhaps a better name for the 4th of july rallies should be something like ‘patriot rally’.

Personally, I’d like to see them called “Independence Day II” rallies, but I’m not the one calling the shots.

Would love to see them set up with PORK barbecues, hotdogs, baked beans, corn on the cob, watermelon, soda & beer, patriotic bands, 1776 costumes, shooting matches (or Patriots vs Red Coat reenactments), fireworks, and the whole shebang.

I’d be up for another event on June 14 (Flag Day) and yet another on the Fourth of July. The new events could be more coordinated with more opportunities for participants to meet representatives from organizations like the Heritage Foundation, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, etc. It would be cool to have recall petitions, fundraising, volunteer signups, and other places to direct people’s money and time. That’s what I was hoping for and was a bit disappointed to not find. With more planning and time we can make future events even better. I hope I can be more help than I was this time around.

Sounds great to me!! I’d like to set up a booth or table and Free Republic banner at our next rally and maybe other FR chapters and organizations can do the same at their local events. Great way to recruit and build up our local chapters and networks.
