Then why are our Republican Reps and Senators caving on this issue?

Our current system has put Texas ahead of all others economically and now they want to Obamanate it?

KBH’s silence is deafening. No comment on any of Perry's actions or the Tea Party movement. A Dallas mentality? Too long in DC?

Those people who were at the Tea Parties are primary voters and will happily cast their vote for Rick Perry. She might as well forget it. No one wants to support her ego trip.

Since Texas is an open primary state, my fear is a nasty primary and then lots of RATS crossing over to choose her over Perry. The RATS will have one candidate and then we will be stuck with a weak GOP contender like Hutchison and we lose the Governor’s office.

Although I haven’t been thrilled with everything Rick Perry has done, I definitely prefer him to Kay Bailey. I am encouraged by TARP in his recent comments. (TARP = Tenth Amendment Rick Perry). If we need assistance economically, I suggest that Gov. Perry contact former U. S. Senator Phil Gramm for some very workable ideas, which, if implemented several years ago by the U. S. Senate, would have eliminated or dampened the effects of the current economic crisis in our land. Secession? I wouldn’t vote against it!

Reject it all or take it all. You can’t have it both ways.
IMHO

KBH fell off the flat end of the Earth about three ago. She disappeared. I suspect she is having heavy discussion about her bid for the gov mansion. She will have an up-hill battle, and probably sees the writing-on-the-wall. He running for gov will do nothing but hurt Texas. NOWAYKAY NOWAYKAY NOWAYKAY

My California born and raised husband is sooo proud of his home state, but now that we have lived here three years, he’s talking more and more about Texas.
