'I have no regrets,' Carrie Prejean, 21, said today about the question that may have cost her the Miss USA crown and led to her being called a 'dumb bitch'. 'By having to answer that question in front of a national audience, God was testing my character and faith. I'm glad I stayed true to myself,' she told Fox News today.

Controversy: Miss California Carrie Prejean (R), pictured with Miss USA 2009 winner Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton (L), has denounced gay marriage Prejean, a blonde student was one of the favourites to win the Miss USA title at the pageant held on Sunday at the Planet Hollywood hotel and casino in Las Vegas and shown live on TV. Having negotiated earlier rounds of modelling in a swimsuit and evening gown, she was down to the final 15 and had to answer a single question from one of the panel of five judges. Prejean picked celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who is openly gay and calls himself 'queen of all media'. Hilton asked her: 'Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalise same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?'

No, but she should dress modestly.

“9 in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.” - 1 Timothy 2:8-9

A Christian woman should have better things to do than participate in a worldly competition where men lust after you and sodomites mock you.

I don’t blame her, so much as her parents and pastors. Christian standards have been so widely abandoned by the church, that most young people like her simply don’t know any better. Does anyone know what church she attends. I suspect there is a hireling in pulpit.

Bears repeating:

“Miss USA is a career opportunity. Miss California was denied that opportunity on the basis of her religious belief and sexual orientation. She has clearly been harmed by the actions of a judge in the contest who has admitted as much. Her civil rights have been grossly violated and she has strong claim to be compensated for the damages.”

She’s the antidote to gay marriage. Any man who looks at those pictures and doesn’t feel proud to be a red-blooded male, ought to just get the sex change operation and be done with it.

I like that kind of ripped North Carolina’s answer for talking about more money to fund welfare. Not directly, but when Cavuto asked about the question to North Carolina about the bailouts, she said she also doesn’t think taxpayer money should be used to bailout corporations, but not to fund more welfare. North Carolina’s answer said she was agianst the bailouts so more money could be used on education, health care and welfare.

As long as photos are being posted, this is one of the “man” who was chosen by the pageant organizers to judge female beauty - and acceptable political opinion:

Perez Hilton, the judge who torpedoed Miss California
for her view on gay "marriage."

Will America wake up to the fact that the demented have hijacked their culture?

According to a previous post in Free republic half the Judges were homo’s or had relations with homo’s.

Close the thing down.

I was somewhat taken aback when she inferred that her “country” was against gay marriage, but upon further reflection- she’s right! Most Americans do believe a marriage is between a man and a woman.

I didn’t see others, just her entire answer given...most of it was rambling nonsense. But, as I said, she finished strong. Since then, I’ve seen her interviews on FOXNews where she does much better. I would chalk it up to nerves.

Since eligibility rules don’t seem to matter anymore, perhaps she can be Palin’s running mate in 2012 despite her young age.

Before she could invoke 42 USC Sec. 1983, she would have to show state action. The First Amendment states,"No state shall ..." there is no state action here. She might have a discrimination claim but there is to much subjectivity on why she lost to make a case.

These people are disgusting. I really wonder how many people who support rights for sodomites REALLY understand what these freaks do?

"No, but she should dress modestly."

I generally agree that people should dress modestly in most settings. It shows personal dignity and self-respect. However, a BEAUTY CONTEST is different from other social scenarios. Her dress and manner was entirely appropriate for the 21st Century. She also acted in a dignified and non-vulgar manner. You might further consider the meaning and context of 1 Timothy before passing judgement on this lovely young woman.

IS Miss California USA state sponsored in any way? I doubt they are, but if the state of California supports them in any way she can use the slanderous statements of the Miss California USA officials as being state action.

LIke I said, I am sure it is a corporation, but you never know.

“The Donald has class.”

The Donald does NOT like Obama and Democrat leftist and he should be concerned that she has every right to sue Miss USA for this exploitive questioning and bias! And, I hope she does. If Trump really wants to make an issue of this and do the right thing....he will come out in support of her being wronged. Will see.....

The AP reported Miss California was booed when she made these remarks. Its a lie, if you listen or watch the tape, she was loudly applauded.

Why this company is not destroyed for doing this stuff I'll never know.
