Flea collars harm people and pets, lawsuit alleges
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | 4/23/09 | Jane Kay

Some flea collars for cats and dogs leave chemicals on their fur that are hazardous to the pets and their owners, in violation of California's anti-toxics laws, according to a national environmental group's lawsuit today.

The Natural Resources Defense Council urged federal regulators to remove the products from the market.

Two chemicals in the collars left residue high enough to pose a risk of cancer and neurological damage to children up to 1,000 times higher than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's acceptable levels, the group said.

"Just because a product is sold in stores doesn't mean it's safe," said Dr. Gina Solomon, a physician and a toxicologist with the environmental group and an author of the study.

In any event an *excellent* opportunity to practice the Conflict Resolution *skills*....

The fact that you're speaking coherently after viewing such a horror speaks well of your training.

I'm not sure that even a DNA test could be definitive.

Totally agree. They call themselves "progressive" when in actuality they're a bunch of regressive butt-sniffing dogs.

“Sorry.

Can’t get past the hairline (gal, right side) starting at the belly button & descending down to wherever it winds-up below the belt-line.

Just can’t.”

That hairline is not typical of nuliparous Libtards. It often develops as a consequence of their spawning.

Look on it as nature’s way of branding those who deliberately spawned more Libtards.

I swear before the saints, if any environmental group told me it was summer in July, I wouldn’t take their say-so for it.

OK, my friend.
But that'd mean I'd have to look.
And as I already declared, I just can't!!

So why didn’t all those unwashed hippies who began to wear collars because of fleas and lice back in the late 1960s die off?

As it turns out, marijuana protects you from flea collar ingredients...

Who knew?

A bit of Tennessee's finest sipping whiskey, just enough to wet my beak?
You got a deal!

This being the Dairy State where we live, milk gets a tad boring after a while. ;^)
