Former radio talk-show host Larry Elder (R) is considering running for Senate in 2010 against Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) but is holding his fire while top GOP officials wait for favored candidate Carly Fiorina (R) to make a final decision on whether shell run, Republican sources confirmed Monday.

Go Larry go

Interesting. Just my immediate reaction is go for it.
Larry Elder’s good - a little libertarian for my taste, but definitely better than Boxer.
Does anyone know what Fiorina is like, politically, besides just having an “R” after her name?
Weak.
He’d be a welcomed CHANGE!
Susan Collins.
Add to that Fiorina destroyed two major American corporations and the only reason for an undecided voter to support her over Boxer is that's she's blonde and can string together coherent sentences.
Carly is a joke. She’s the insiders insider.
Her entire career consisted of dismantaling once great companies and recombining the pieces into something less. HP went from one of the icons of high tech and the biggest employer in Silicon Valley to a an outsourced, unhappy seller of crappy plastic PC garbage.
HP employees were so happy when she resigned (was fired) that they had spontaneous parties in their cubicals. People went out to buy champagne and such.
She’s a nice looking lady CEO who put herself on TV and used her time there to boost her own profile. Eventually one of the HP heirs started a proxy fight to remove her. He lost that round, but her hateful brand of sell-out corporatism eventually cost her her job.
I would never consider voting for her. She will lose, just like her mentor McCain lost. For a lot of the same reasons.
(PS: Is she pro-choice. Most of the RINO-ladies are pro-choice.)
Go Larry! He’d be awesome!
Ideology be damned. That's your modern whore also known as the Gutless Old Party.
And the stock went up a lot. Some cynic looked at the increase in the market cap of HP when she was fired, and figured the return on investment for her severance pay. A good deal for HP.
Boxer. Doing to America what Fiorina did to LU and HP
She was a big honcho for McLame so that is enough to disqualify in my book.
Run Larry, RUN!
Yes!
So what you’re saying is that she’s incompetent but rich, is believed to appeal to “moderate” voters, and would be ran to try to appeal to a “vital” voting block?
She sounds perfect for the GOP!
I won't get to vote in CA, but I'll be watching that race closely.
It would be great to get a true conservative from CA elected to the Senate.
Go Larry!!!!!!!!!!!!
why was his show cancelled?
