The US got tough with Pakistan as terrorists moved to within 60 miles of the capital

AMERICA made clear last week that it would attack Taliban forces in their Swat valley stronghold unless the Pakistan government stopped the militants’ advance towards Islamabad.

A senior Pakistani official said the Obama administration intervened after Taliban forces expanded from Swat into the adjacent district of Buner, 60 miles from the capital.

The Pakistani Taliban’s inroads raised international concern, particularly in Washington, where officials feared that the nuclear-armed country, which is pivotal to the US war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and against Al-Qaeda, was rapidly succumbing to Islamist extremists.

Be comforted. Remember, the militants are a very small percentage of the good Muslims. Even “W” said so.

This has the potential for disaster like nothing else in the world today. Iran and North Korea may have elemental nuclear capability but Pakistan has full capability. If the muzzies have that capability they will use it! North Korea won’t nuke us or South Korea because they know they would be leveled. Iran may be tempted to nuke Israel but Israel probably will prevent that without our help. China won’t nuke us because we are their biggest customer. But the islamo-fascists simply hate the U.S. (and everybody else who isn’t one of them) and would have no problem destroying us.
Go read the book “One second after” it will scare the pants off you! Very realistic scenario, EMP attack with one well made and well placed device reduces us to the dark ages.

I don’t believe for a second that higher taxes coupled with higher government spending is meant to jumpstart the economy. Liberals are VERY big on control, and the best way to do it is through taxes and redistribution of wealth (socialism). I’ve been laughed at for saying that government uses taxes to control people and/or businesses behavior, but look at the upcoming cap and trade. It’s a very high tax designed to curb the output of CO2 by businesses. Also, Obama has said that he wants to raise taxes on gas to curb our oil consumption. One last example is how Hilary said she wanted to take away $20 billion from the oil companies unless they invested in alternative energy. I don’t know about you, but all of the above are taxes designed to control business.

That was stupid. I’m new to the site and my previous comment was to the video that was on this page. I didn’t even stop to think that the video had nothing to do with the article until after I came back to the page and it had a different video, different topic. Sorry for the confusion....you can stop wondering what I’m smoking now, lol.

We cannot put an American MP on every crossroad in every country in the world and I do not see maintaining the level of world wide Lexus sales a cause worth paying by American lives.

Let them fight, let use their nukes, let the rest of the world burn, this the only way they can learn.

The only reason the Taliban is going for the nukes is precisely because the election of their muzzie brother to POTUS has emboldened them.

They will overrun the capital and be in possession of the nukes within the year.

The nuclear blackmail will commence soon after.

And believe me, they will target middle American cities in the remaining non socialist states as well as NYC and DC.

This is only the first of the dominoes that will fall.

The American populace and its politicians have been exposed worldwide to its enemies as idiots and dupes, nothing will prevent them from taking what they want.
