Jeb Bush to Help Rebuild GOP

Republican political figures in recent days announced policy programs to challenge President Barack Obama's agenda and to counter perceptions that the GOP is a listless, leaderless "party of no."

In doing so, they're highlighting their differences with the Republican National Committee's political strategy.

House and Senate Republican lawmakers were the latest to launch a group independent of the RNC, announcing the formation of the National Council for a New America.

The group comprises potential GOP presidential candidates who plan town hall-style meetings to promote ideas different from Obama's. Their aides and allies have been vexed by the lack of comprehensive alternatives put forward by the national Republican leadership.

"One of the things that's constantly stated by the Obama administration spokesman is that the Republicans are the 'party of no,' and that the conservatives don't have ideas," said former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, whose brother, President George W. Bush, many blame for the party's unpopularity. "But conservatives, in general, have not done a great job on putting forward their ideas."

Well, that it then.

I’ll be ripping up my Republican card now. I will not support the establishment of hereditary politicians. Bush Jr. was the last straw.

I’d rather have another Bush than who’s in there now, wouldn’t you? Or at least someone like him.

I’m not alone. I might agree with her on nearly every issue but I don’t want her anywhere near the 48 unless she’s doing a fundraiser.

Frankly, I think the republicans “like” the way Washington works now.

Yep, the Dems will take the blame for the spending while the Pubs get their share of the loot.

Jeb is a whole different ballgame from W and HW. If you take the time to look at his record in FL this will be clear.

What did he do as Florida governor?

I'll pay attention when Jeb goes on the offense against the 'rat regime instead of his own party.

Dude, are you kidding me? Our founding father's could speak Latin. They wrote books and letters that are still quoted today. Palin is still struggling with English.

Palin has their understanding of virtue, which is far more important then speaking Latin.

Too bad she didn’t communicate that understanding of virtue to her daughter.

And all the Founders had perfect children as well.

Any more stupid comments you want to make?

I'm just wondering what 'virtue' means to you?

And when did the 'imperfect' turn into knocked up white trash by white trash speaking on a national stage about how abstinence doesn't work but condoms do?

Hey - Mitt seems to have raised his sons right.

Hey, you did have something else stupid to say!

And did the Founding Fathers have perfect children?

That is who you were originally comparing Palin to, saying she didn't speak Latin.

I would compare her virtue (honor and integrity) with that of the Founding Fathers.

I await your next stupid comment.

I think it's time the nursing home removed computers.

Palin is a college flunky, inarticulate, uneducated, and pushed more voters away from McCain than anything McCain ever did. She probably cost us the election.

If you can't stand up to the media, and you can only do walk-and-talks with Greta in the months after the election, you clearly aren't ready for primetime.

Oh - and she's a *bad mom.* She was too busy playing governor while her slutty daughter was getting knocked up by some trailer trash who hit and split. No woman with a newborn belongs on a national ticket, anyway.

And what does that have to do with her virtue as it relates to the Founding Fathers?

That was the yardstick by which you were judging her.

Now all you are left with is an empty and meaningless rant.

I am sure some of the Founding Fathers were not good fathers either.

Heck, some of them even owned (gasp!) slaves!

So, your attempt to belittle Palin because she didn't measure up the Founding Fathers (who does!) has shown to be just so much hot air.
