“Why/how is there any elected official in the US like this?
How/why is there a constituency in a district to elect and re-elect someone like this?”
Unfortunately this creature is my state senator. The district is very liberal in the north where the “art and croissant crowd” house themselves. Kansas City is overrun with democrats..this is where Claire McCaskill was from and started her political career. This is the district that sent Emmanuel Cleaver, the liberalist reverend you’d ever wanna meet was a two term mayor. It’s an open sewage pit.
