Lets just cut them off and push them out to sea. They act like they are better that the rest of us anyway so lets see how well they handle things on their own!

...about to go bankrupt...

But, but, how can that be?

We have the wealthiest and largest force of public employees in the whole land. Retired or not.

Someone once said that a fish rots from the head first.

There's a lot of rotting fish in Sacramento. But then again the people in California have decided to become a one party state and this is the result of that. So California gets what they deserve. But you won't convince the average knuckle dragger of this. They will blame Bush or Schwarenegger (although Arnold does share some of the blame) or anyone but themselves for a Democratic Legislature.

Well the bills are coming due and the people in California are facing a day of reckoning. Will they be up to the task? I doubt it.

Statement: "California could be broke by July, state official warns "

Response: We are broke. In fact the State is bankrupt on all levels; politically, economically, morally, socially etc.

Comment: Here in California "The Divine Ones" approach to governing has been weighed in the balance and found wanting. California today the nation tomorrow. WHAT A MESS!!!!!!

Calif. is the blueprint for Obama’s plans for the nation. He won’t let them face the music. Look for a call to “bailout” Calif. either with TARP money or additional federal spending.

After all, if we can bailout the banks and auto companies, we must help our largest state. At least that will be the line.

If Calif. goes under people will start asking why, and the reasons will look too much like what Obama is doing today nationally. Calif. is our furture.

You shouldn’t blame all Californians for this mess...there are few things as frustrating as being a conservative here, and there millions of conservatives in California...we’re just overwhelmed by liberals and illegals. Having said that, the best thing for California might be to go bankrupt...it’s the only way to stop the madness.

“Lets just cut them off and push them out to sea.”

Let me evac my family first. THEN, cut it off and push it into the sea like the dead, rotting mass that it is. Otherwise, the gangrene of bankruptcy will kill off the rest of us, too.

“there are few things as frustrating as being a conservative here, and there millions of conservatives in California...”

NorCal, from Sacramento on north, needs to announce a declaration of independence from the rest of the state. The only thing that will save California is partition. The USA keeps the conservative part, and the rest ceded to Mexico. Might as well do it now; demographic trends will only force it later anyway.
