Western society owes its very existence to the Gospels. It was civilized became great because of the Christianity, it will devolve into chaos and die without it.
All of these political battles we fight - whether we win them or not - will always be fleeting and short lived if our collective hearts, minds and souls are sick. America in general and the Western conservative movement in particular cannot simply "make it up as we go" while rejecting the wisdom of our ancestors, the ages and the Creator. Such will only lead to perdition.

I just made my 1st contribution to FR, $100. Guns and religion are not the most important to issues to me (I don’t a gun and don’t believe in God), but I am really concerned about America’s march toward socialism under Obama.
I guess many Freepers would say that it’s easier to march unarmed people toward socialism.
