Listening to President Obama and former Vice President Cheney give their respective national security speeches Thursday put me in mind of John Gray, author of "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus."
Different men, different planets. Or are they?

I dunno. She seems to suggest that if we are attacked again that she hopes Obama acts more in the fashion of the Cheney/Bush response for interrogations.
This is a Republican.
These are Democrats.
Kathleen P is dead to me
Kathleen’s just biding her time for the next MSM-engineered GOP scandal so she can be invited back on shows that nobody watches to trash conservatives.
Like Peggy Noonan, she’s in love with her own prose.
And just WHY do we have a column by Kathleen “I’m hotter than Sarah” Parker posted on FR?
Parker is NOT a Conservative. Peggy Noonan is not a Conservative. David Brooks is not a Conservative. Read them, listen to them, follow thier words at your own peril. Listen to them and Conservatives will never regain leadership in our government. They would do the bidding of the Statists, the Democrats, the Socialists, so that they might be seen, their place at the table preserved, the crumbs from Obama’s stimulus package filling their attention hungry cravings....
A pox upon the Parker’s, Brooks and Noonan’s! May Conservative NOT be fooled again!
Accordingly, he is a disingenuous demagogue to criticize those who decided such techniques were warranted in the case of three individuals privy to information critical to national security who would not divulge it when prompted with standard techniques.
do me a favor and don’t clink on Parker, Noonan or Brooks articles. Deny them readership. We already know what they have to say.
I’ve proudly been givine Kathleen
a solid 1 rating every chance I have.
Peggy Noonan had a great commentary in today’s Wall St. Journal about Medal of Honor recipients Alvin York and Audie Murphy. I printed it for my nephew and niece, especially since neither one learned about these great men in their history classes.
If you ever visit Arlington, please make a trip over to Audie Murphy’s grave. It’s very moving for its simplicity. The first time I saw it was in 1972 and I visited it again in 2006.
“And just WHY do we have a column by Kathleen Im hotter than Sarah Parker posted on FR?”
My thoughts exactly...
Right now, I am angry with myself for actually clicking the link and giving her pansied article (the man with the moonbeam in his eye) a cyber hit.
You are sooo right. I knew, before I read, what she had to say (feeling used right now).
:P PaMom
Bingo.
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...
Alongside David Brock, Andrew Sullivan, and Peggy Noonan.
Kathleen P is dead to me...
Ditto. Don’t care what she is saying, I’m not listening. She was a nobody for years and years and years when we were winning so apparently my life can be complete without her input.
