Ooh. Could Dick Cheney be playing around with the controls of Karl Rove’s weather machine now hidden somewhere in a South Dakota garage?

4.7 is nothing to laugh at. It sounds like they got their triggering device to finally work.

Say goodbye to Seoul, it’s a beautiful city, but never had a chance with that bunch in the north.

Funnies aside, we’d know the difference between a nuke test and an earthquake.

It was a nuclear test.

This is highly suspect. If it is coming from around the area of Kimchaek, in North Korea, then something is wrong. That is a hotbed of nuclear testing and missile technology up there. What in hell's name is going on.

Bloomberg is reporting NK held a nuclear test.

No real commentary at Bberg, just a statement.

Looks like epicenter was very close to the 2006 nuke test:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_North_Korean_nuclear_test

It occurred at the geographic coordinates 41°17′38.4″N 129°08′2.4″E / 41.294°N 129.134°E / 41.294; 129.134 with a horizontal location uncertainty of ±9.6 km (6.0 miles). This is 73 km (45 miles) north of Kimchaek, 90 km (55 miles) southwest of Chongjin, 180 km (112 miles) south of Yanji, and 385 km (240 miles) northeast of Pyongyang.[36]

“Any word from Obozo yet?”

Nope. But....

Tom Daschle is deeply saddened.
Nancy Pelosi says the CIA lied about NK’s nuclear program.
Al Gore stated they betrayed their country. They played on its fears.
Obama voted present.
