To: A Navy Vet
It is a shame they forget the 47,000 Americans stationed in Japan and the tens of thousands of US military right now as we speak in South Korea.

Can it (North Korea) be THAT "far away" for average Americans?? Talk about mental abandonment and insularity. Sheesh. (I kind of expected it though).

To be fair it is a little early in the day for most Americans to be up and about and most haven't heard about N. Korea's little bomb blast and missile launches of last night/this morning(depending on where they are). I had to inform my family of it and they are deeply concerned. The one you should be worried about aren't the average Americans but the weak kneed do nothing we have in the WH.

Granted a lot of Americans are going to do like my 16 yo GrandDaughter and say, "What country was that?", when I was telling them all about the nuke test and the missiles, but at least she has an excuse, she is a brain dead teenager.
