President Obama and his administration told Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during a meeting last week the U.S. foresees the creation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, according to a top PA official speaking to WND.
"The American administration was very friendly to the position of the PA," said Nimer Hamad, Abbas' senior political adviser.
"Abu Mazen (Abbas) heard from Obama and his administration in a very categorical way that a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is in the American national and security interest," Hamad said.
Another PA official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told WND today that Obama informed Abbas he would not let Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "get in the way" of normalizing U.S. relations with the Arab and greater Muslim world.
"We were told from this new administration they will not allow a Netanyahu government to hurt their efforts of rehabilitating U.S. relations with the Arab and Islamic world, which is a high priority of Obama," the official said, speaking during a visit to Cairo.

You can pretty much count on Obama to take the wrong side on every important issue. There have been lots of Divine promises concerning Jerusalem in the old and new Testament and I don’t think making it the capital of Palestine fits in with the plan.

Well I think the number who did vote for him and have regrets is growing
—a woman I know who not only voted for him, but who had a son working on the campaign as an intern, went down to the election party in Chicago, etc. was complaining about taxes. I said to her, “you sound more like a libertarian very day—perhaps you should have attended a tea party.” Her lack of comeback spoke volumes.
Interesting that in all the polls that have been done, I have seen none with the simple premise: If you voted for the occupant and were given a do-over, would do it different?
Supposedly he won by 10, million votes or so—however, I wonder if the margin was that great given the massive funding and activism on part of ACORN.

I’ve always shrugged my shoulders at the notion that Obama is the anti-Christ. Now I’m beginning to wonder — he’s fitting too many of the criteria: charismatic, will woo the people before he unleashes the ‘real’ him and reveals himself as an enemy of Israel (to California celebs — “you ain’t seen nothing yet”), creates a one-government world, and on and on. His election is going to be the worst mistake that this country ever made.
