i worked the detail for his visit last night. not a fun night for us. hundreds and hundreds of cops standing around on overtime. only working the 5 minutes he drove uptown and the 5 minutes he drive back down.

.... hundreds for a two tickets to a Broadway show.....thousands spent for a dress......hundreds of thousands on Air Force One flight to NYC........the looks on their faces on date night - priceless.I’d have been more impressed if they’d ‘taken in’ The Norman Conquests’, by probably the greatest dramatist in the English-speaking world, Alan Ayckbourn, but it’s not PC enough, when “Joe Turner” is also on Broadway.
