Yes it was the will of God. Our God is a God to be feared. As men our choices have an impact on our families. If we fail God then our families can pay the price. Thankfully God decided to send his Son since we all failed to meet the mark.

Jesus is all we need to go to be saved. He is not the all. There is also God and the Holy Spirit.

My God didnt will that on those people. That was clearly something Moses did freelance, blamed on God, and wrote it down. That old world Jewish history background stuff is precisely why Jesus came. And now you see the old testament as a roadmap? Ask yourself this. Why is it nearly impossible to buy JUST an old testament?
