After meeting with Judge Sonia Sotomayor, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) said criticisms of her are "vicious." Sen. Leahy was referring to Rush Limbaugh who called her "racist" and former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) who compared her to the KKK.

Democrats are routinely “vicious” to Republican judicial nominees, and with less reason than in this case, when Sotomayor has made an unambiguously racist and sexist comment. Yes, she should be allowed to rebut her critics in hearings, but the statement on its face is pretty damning.
Leahy needs to explain why the term “Hispanic KKK” is not accurate when describing La Raza.

Leahy likes this kind of token minority, he can then play powerbroker and little Ms LaRaza can be damsel in distress that Ol’ Massa white Lib can play hero.

Does anyone remember that Representative from the South who toasted a retiring elder Representative at a party something to the effect that if the elder Rep had been president things would have been different? The elder Rep had run for president in the 40s. The RATS and the Congressional Black Caucus and their lapdog mainstream media went on the attack because the Rep was a Pubbie. Anyone remember the racist charges against the Rep? And he didn’t even say anything near what the racist Sotomayor said. Yet, the RATS, Congressional Black Caucus & mainstream media took it upon themselves to interpret a harmless remark and hound the man out of office. Sotomayor is a racist. No getting around it.
Leahy is one of these pukes who imagines the class enemy will execute him last!
