Obama at Columbia-- the unexceptional student no one remembers
wnd ^

Posted on 06/09/2009 7:26:35 PM PDT by cycle of discernment

Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981.

According to the New York Times, Obama "suggests in his book that his years in New York were a pivotal period: He ran three miles a day, buckled down to work and 'stopped getting high,' which he says he had started doing in high school.

Yet he declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years."

Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told the newspaper in October 2007, "He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life."

Obama claimed to be a part of the Black Student Organization and anti-apartheid activities. But according to the New York Times, several well-known student leaders did not recall his involvement.

Fox News made contact with 400 of Obama's classmates. No one remembered him.

The Columbia University chapter in Obama's life remains blank, according to the New York Sun.

"The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago," the Sun reported in September 2008.

"The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public."

According to the New York Sun, a program from Columbia's 1983 commencement ceremony lists Obama as a graduate. University spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated with a major in political science but without honors. Nonetheless, he was later admitted to Harvard Law School.

Only Columbia is not hosting a big party for their presidential grad.
_______________
hmmm the Columbia years have many skeletons in the closet. Barry was in the closet at that time too.

Take a look at my home page: Obama's Connections

I left college 30 years ago, and I'm still in touch with people I knew there. There would be at least a couple dozen people who, if shown a pic of me, would say, "Yeah, I remember him from when he ..."

And I regarded myself as a shy introvert back in those days.

Anybody else here, having left college over 20 years ago, think that there would be NOBODY who would remember you, and come forward with stories, if you suddenly became famous?

Ron, the caption under this photo was something to the effect that they were outside the embassy getting ready to board AF1 to fly to Paris. I really don’t know why they would alter that picture and what the purpose would be. There were about 25 pictures and I believe it said Reggie took many of them. I’m sure those pics will pop up all over the internet soon.

. Why in heck would they go to so much trouble to fake such an insignificant pic? Doesn’t make sense.
____________
No it doesn’t and I’m not convinced. I’m not seeing what you all are seeing.

killer cuts off the head of a corpse: to hide their identity
____________
Or the person taking the picture sucked and mainly wanted to get zer0 and since he was sitting down, cut off the heads? The one in flip flops is Reggie Love. He wore them a lot during the trip and had the same ones on when he arrived back at the WH with BO and departed Marine1. He also had them on in Paris at the Eiffel tower. Who the other 2 are, I don’t know.

For me, the question has always been, “Can this image have been produced naturally?”

If someone has a theory as to why his shadow is off on a tangent, and his suit looks like Joseph’s coat, I’m open to it.

Maybe it was all about making him look ubercool.

If this was an isolated incident, I’d dismiss it. But, the odds of finding a doctored photo in which Obama is with other people is awdully high.

Delusions of grandeur is a side effect from weed? Um, no. I’d say it’s a side effect from his Communist upbringing.

Well, let's see: we have WND calling hospitals in Hawaii to demand records-when even the rawest journalism intern knows such records are subject to medical privilege. (Properly executed release,or court order needed.)

Next WND contacts - what was it ? 400 former classmates in an attempt to find out about O's scholastic record-but (Sob !) no one seems to remember him ! ( Was there a reason they should have ? Oh, yeah : color - but he was hardly the only "person of color" in a class of that size.)

"Hmmmm....", muses WMD. " Somebody must be hiding something !"

Perhaps someone is hiding something: namely a private agenda. What could that agenda be ?

Oooh ! I know: let's ask the perennially hopeful Dr. Keyes !! What do you think leads this august gentleman to think he will somehow grab the brass ring this time ?

(Am I supposed to say "Bark-bark !" at this point ?)

____________
I have no idea what shadow off on a tangent means. It took me 2 days to understand your birth certificate report but I stuck with it until I did. After that I too am convinced that BC posted online is a BS fake. I just don’t see what you are talking about in this photo and I don’t see why they would bother to fake this particular photo. It’s not like it paints him in a positive light or anything. He looks like a lazy slob all sprawled out on the steps. If anything, I would think they would deep six that photo and they probably will since it was posted here and made fun of.
There were lots of other photos besides this one. I just saved the ones that were funny to me. I wonder who gave him the hat. It was supposedly on the recent trip this past week. They didn’t say who gave it to him.

His racist benefactors were Khaled Al Mansour and Percy Sutton, once NY Borough President and Malcom X’s lawyer. He also owned WLIB, a “kill whitey” radio station..

“On a tangent” was an attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor, although tecnically correct.

How’s this: look at the shadows of the three men standing up. The shadows run horizontally and parallel to the concrete steps, indicating that the men were perpendicular to the Sun. Notice, also, the length of these shadows. The Sun had to be at a low angle, as if was early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

Now, look at the shadow cast by Obama. Yes, he’s sitting down and thus, he would not cast a shadow as long as the men standing, but the shadow must also be in PARALLEL WITH THE STEPS and with the other shadows.

It’s not: it’s angled 45 degrees, from left to right, relative to the steps and the other shadows.

Can you can see it now??

“He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life.”

That's viable.

What's NOT viable is that NOBODY remembers HIM.
