I love that ping list.

I post two daily devotionals in the religion forum, and have a ping list for each:

1. Tozer
2. Days of Praise

Is there a How To Do A Ping List Ping List?

No, but they're easy.

Announce one.

Start collecting names from people who want to join. (Or you can just inherit a list from someone who wants to give one up.)

Make a cute little thingie to post to announce your list, like wagglebee or I have for our lists.

Whenever you find a thread relevant to the topic of the ping list, copy and paste the names on the list into the To: field just like when you ping one person.

Post.

New Mexico Ping List

New Political Outrage Bump and Ping List (for outrageous anti-constitutional articles that I find that are posted but not getting much play.)

If someone already has such a ping list, please let me know.

thanks for taking the initiative. There have been a lot of changes at FR in 2 years.

I loved the format/presentation that ckg used ; hope you will be able to have a good presentation also or if ckg is willing & has the time/interest will work as a team with you.

Many of our former people are not here any longer, new forums, NO forums, illness/death of spouse & self. We have lost to death many good people the past few years.

It is good to see other FReepers protective of ckg’s “territory” more or less. Just like Howlin used to always do the live threads & hurricanes.. Now she is rarely if ever here at FR.

The singles threads on a weekly basis are no more & an occasional issue/thread is used for ping list. The Finest was Fine but it is gone. The posting copyright guidelines chocked out pookie’s toons.. New issues & concerns are about. Many are really depressed & shell shocked still over November, many are coming back... maybe just to make fun of FLOTUS wardrobe/appearance or salute TOTUS but are trickling in.

Facebook & Twitting has taken over in some lives..

BUT again I commend you for taking the lead to see what is who & who is where more or less.

I have given the Ann Coulter Ping List back to Jellybean.

I still maintain and ping the Mark Steyn Ping List and the Homebrewers Ping Lists however.

Cheers,

“Just one ping list: “The List”, a continous record of Obama miscues and bad policy”

That must be the highest volume ping list of all time!

Yup. Especially since I was dumb and went to a “public Ivy” filled with attractive young ladies and then enrolled in their Engineering School, which stole all my time and is...only 15 percent female. (smacks head)

But at least I’ll have a job, right? LOL.
