Holocaust Museum Shooter: Christian-Hating Socialist (Lefties blame freepers)
Frontpage ^ | 6/11/09 | Ben Johnson

On June 10, the nation tragically witnessed a memorial dedicated to commemorating an atrocity become the site of yet more death. Just before 1 p.m., longtime neo-Nazi James Wenneker Von Brunn entered the Holocaust Museum on the National Mall and opened fire in an attempt to complete the Final Solution his hero had left tentative, an omission Von Brunn dubbed “Hitler’s biggest mistake.” As former Defense Secretary Bill Cohen wandered the museum grounds, Von Brunn killed Stephen T. Johns, a black security officer, then was shot himself. As of this writing, the 88-year-old is in critical condition.

The white-wing fringe greeted the news with predictable joy. Its most popular website, Stormfront.org, saluted “White Racialist Treasure: James Von Brunn” in 2004; a thoughtful reader, seeing Von Brunn had backed up his recent threats with deadly action, wrote yesterday, “Definitely needs a bump today.” Another hoped the shooting would cause Americans to believe taking their children to Holocaust memorials is now “an insurance risk.”

Snip

Karl Rove, Glenn Beck, and Freepers Killed Stephen Johns?

Never apt to let facts get in the way of slander, the Left immediately branded Von Brunn a conservative – and found a way to tie his actions to their favorite demons: President Bush and Fox News. Upon learning of the tragedy, Huffington Post blogger Michelle Kraus wrote simply, “Thank you very much Karl Rove and your minions.” Fellow HuffenPuffer Joseph Palermo, – also, surprise, an Associate Professor of History at California State University-Sacramento – accused Fox News host Glenn Beck of “using the public airwaves to incite violence,” calling his program “a white reactionary tour de force – incendiary, stupid, and racist.” The usually staid Alan Colmes smeared the mainstream conservative website FreeRepublic.com,

Statistically, anyone of his age would be a WWII vet, be it a saint or a demonic freak like this guy. Being a vet doesn’t automatically give you a halo, albeit, normally they are the best of the best, but pretty much every healthy male from 17-40 during that time was conscripted so there would by sheer numbers, be some bad apples in there.

A review of his lengthy associations reveals Von Brunn hardly fits the stereotype of a Religious Right, GOP precinct captain. He denounced the Christian faith as a dastardly Jewish conspiracy, a “HOAX” invented by the Apostle Paul to “DESTROY ROMAN CULTURE” from within by undermining its pagan virility. (All screaming capitalization and grammatical errors in this piece appear in the original.) Like others on the racist fringe, the shooter proclaimed clearly: “SOCIALISM, represents the future of the West.”

This is from this article..

I am beginning to understand why yesterday’s liberals moved to socialism and now rapidly and dangerously becoming fascist- they clearly do not know the definition of a fascist and do not know history.

Sounds like a leftwing rat to me. When any of the left start spouting off about Bush, corporations, Jews, Israel, neocons....I’ll remind them of this man.

they clearly do not know the definition of a fascist and do not know history.

Worse, they know it but instead of learning from history, they manipulate history for their own acquisition of power?

It is not a large leap for a socialist to turn racist fascist. All it takes is the realization that "all these guys who don't look like me" want a piece of HIS pie, and that the "social safety net" that he's been advocating is strained from holding up people he doesn't like.

BM

Brunn sounds like the typical leftist, M.Sanger eugenics/Planned Parenthood, hatred of Jews/Israel, hate of free enterprise and love of socialism.

Von Brunn stood for everything that FReepers stand against. His racist views have no support here.

For the left to portray him as ‘one of us’ is appalling and disgusting and shows just how far some of them will stoop to smear us.

He was a Nazi socialist member of the democrat party. The perfect democrat spurred on by BO Plenty’s step-by-step dumping of Israel as an ally.

He may become the Marinus van der Lubbe of the new fueher.

We have other enemies who realize we are a threat to their lies and are defaming us like this-

Wayne Slater

And a Dan Rather want-to-be.

From:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matthew-balan/2009/06/10/dmns-slater-lumps-tea-party-protesters-holocaust-center-tiller-shooti

Dallas Morning News’s Wayne Slater become one of the first pundits after the shootings at the Holocaust Museum on Wednesday to hint that there was a connection to mainstream conservative activists. On CNN Newsroom, about two hours after the story broke, Slater linked this incident and the murder of abortionist George Tiller with “anti-tax secessionists in Texas,” his label for Tea Party protesters.

SLATER: They absolutely need to be motivated and are being motivated. Each of these episodes in recent weeks- whether it’s [the] killing of an abortion doctor- whether it was this Holocaust denier today, or whether it was others- whether you’re talking about Tim McVeigh or anti-tax secessionists in Texas- the interesting thing is they’re all separate, but they’re all hearing portions of the same echo chamber, a kind of dialogue- a toxic dialogue that’s subterranean in large parts.

Remember, the man who was accused- who is accused of the most recent shooting of the abortion doctor, according to his ex-wife, had connections with the Montana Freemen, a kind of wild radical secessionist group. You hear not only these conversations about blacks and Jews, but about the government and about other hate-filled issues.

It is- although they are separate- they are connected by a kind of dialogue of toxic ideology.

From: http://www.mcculloughsite.net/stingray/2006/06/11/dallas-morning-news-wayne-slater-of-rathergate-fame-gets-it-right.php

For those who don’t know, Slater was the one who brought forth Bill Burkett — the man who provided the phony documents to Dan Rather’s editor, Mary Mapes — as a credible witness despite overwhelming evidence that Burkett was a serial liar and basic.

Since Slater works with Mary Mapes’ husband, Mark Wrolstrad, and since I had raised such a stink about Burkett to so many editors and reporters at the Morning News before Rather’s story broke, I have no idea how Slater kept his job.

He and I made peace one night during the time that Rather’s story was “falling faster than Bill Clinton’s pants at a sorority party,” and I sincerely believe that he was sorry for what he had done.

I love the way Harry Binswanger put it yesterday on Beck’s show:

Bigots/Racists are inherently collectivist, therefore leftist.
It is the right that exalts the individual.

Thanks for a very illuminating post. This guy, in addition to being certifiably wacko, was a Jew-hating, Christian-hating, socialist. He really would have been right at home in the Nazi party.

BTW, Hitler ran for Chancellor against the conservative, pro-religion parties.
