Time for a live thread to keep track of all the news in Iran- it's getting tough to keep up!
There is link on here a few comments up that is a link to Hugh Hewlitt and he has a list of Iranians tweeting. However, I have been getting mine from #IranElections, most of them are NOT from Iran but now and then I see a few.
This one refreshes itself, and used to have messages from Iran, but I haven’t seen any in a few hours. I just let it run in another window...
http://www.scoopler.com/search/#%22iranelection%22
I’ve been following a lot of them on twitter...a lot of them signed off a bit ago to get some sleep...
There have been enough reports that it is possible that it is true. There have been suggestions in past troubles that Arab speakers have been brought in to "help out."
Yes, a person can only go so long without sleeping and many people forget the big time difference between here and Iran, and the date line.
Thank you
You read a long piece about splintering that may be going on in the leadership. I think it may have been another FR post about “blogs from Iran”, a lot of twitter, but also some analysis. I last looked at 450 to 510, I think I read it then, or perhaps yesterday when I read up to 250. This individual even suggested that things might get violent at the high levels.

Thanks...I’m slowly catching on
“Especially proud of the Iranian women shown in photos.”
There was a great photo on the front page of the Washington Post, surprise, showing 4 men beating a man with rubber hoses or battons, and a woman, in islamic cover, standing about 3 feet away, waving her hands and screaming her anger. She was wearing eyeglasses.

This is the perfect time to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities and knock out the mullah’s communication networks.
Pile on NOW..they won’t be able to handle it all from without and within at the same time. USA and Israel together just attack the nuke sites and missle launchers. Oh but Obummer gutless wonder is POTUS.... just my little fantasy gone awry!
“What are politics like inside the Iranian military? At Tienanmen Chinese had to use distant troops to fire on students.”
I have run across several reports, Twitter and others, to the effect that Arabic rather than Persian has been heard among police. It is suggested that regime is importing Lebanese Hesbolla or Palestinians to do the dirty work. Does anyone have more definative information on this?
That would be a disaster. Many workers at those nuclear facilities are pro-reform, and the communication network in Iran is the most significant factor in letting the resistance coordinate in the first place.
If this doesn't end well, the Persian people need to have the resources to regroup and try again.
Isn’t tomorrow called for a national protest strike day? That would be an opportune time to bomb their nukes with less chance for civilian casualties.
Confirmed or not?
RT from Iran: my dorms are being raided again plain clothe are coming with guns and threats pray please #iran9 #gr88
Ok, so the guy can't spell, through=throw. Sounds rough over there.
A different leaked Interior Ministry report stated the following statistics:
49 million eligible voters
42 million actual voters
19 million Mousavi
13 million Karubi, the most moderate condidate
6 million nut job
3.5 million the conservative, don’t remember name
This was reiterated by one of the comments in your “good pics” link. This person also suggested that one reason for rushing the election results, rather than following the law and waiting 3 days to give results, is that they were afraid of a runoff between Mousavi and Karubi since Mousavi did not get over 50%. The commenter favored a second suggestion that they just did not want to admit how badly nutjob had done.
And give the government the perfect excuse to insist that people stay inside to avoid any radiological threat. Not to mention destroying a perfectly good nuclear facility that the new secular government would otherwise inherit.
Besides, who would do the bombing? Any attempt by Israel to do it would unite the people under the existing tyrannical government, and the United States government seems to even lack the will to give the Resistance verbal moral support.
The fact is that the existing government of the United States is too incompetent to act in any constructive way. Short of maybe preventing any outside assistance by the regime's foreign supporters (and I doubt it has the will to even accomplish that trivial task), it needs to stay out of the conflict.
I’ve seen that one as well. Seem to be conflicting reports on the actual numbers, but it’s clear Musavi got the majority.
bump
Have any of you seen this one yet? Attack on the Basij headquarters with them shooting into the crowd.:

As usual Bozo voted present again. No condemnation of the Iranian government killing civilians for peacefully protesting an election, and it was peaceful until the Basij started beating the he** out of everyone. The Basij are civilians and wear civilian clothes, therefore the government can blame citizens when they show pictures of them committing violence against Iranians.
It’a really on now...can someone find out if this is Artesh or RG?

Yee Hah! WHOMEVER AT FOGGY BOTTOM IS DOING THIS...PROMOTE HIM! He’s certainly better than the average DoS rat.
CNN actually using Twitter now to cover the story. They were royally slammed last weekend!.
Exactly- and the dreadful Rick Sanchez did an entire explanation tour yesterday afternoon to defend CNN’s coverage on Saturday- it was pitiful.
Sad, they got scooped by a “lowly” social networking site...
Can somebody post a “Welcome to the Party Pal” John McClain pic? I think we could change the wording to “Welcome to the 21st century, pal”.

I am a man who isn’t one who could be called a dove. I have often argued “Iran Delenda Est”. I somewhat regret those words. But I do not regret the need to remove this cancer, this regime of Holocaust-denying-goosestepping thugs who bring in foreigners to oppress their own children. We would have had a man like John McCain to do it. I was not a enthusiastic supporter of his..but I saw what Obama is. And now the world has: WHERE ARE THE DEMOCRATS WHO THREW GHWBs INACTION OVER TINANMEN IN OUR FACES 20 YEARS AGO ALMOST TO THE DAY! WHERE ARE YOU, YOU SPINELESS COWARDS! COME OUT AND TELL US WE NEED TO SAVE CHINA, OR DARFUR, BUT YOU WON’T SAVE A BUNCH OF KIDS FROM THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT!
-A government that has:
-Killed Americans
-Seized our property and held Americans and other foreign nationals against their will
-Oppressed their own citizens
-Threatened their neighbors with nuclear weapons
And now, turned foreign thugs on their own children. We may be overextended, we may be in trouble...but comeon Mr. Obama..you said we could, that we are the ones we are waiting for. Well, we’re waiting, get off your duff and be the president the hour requires. I know your predecessor would have.
To the Iranian students I say this: “I am sorry we didn’t hang a right at Baghdad.”
Maybe I spoke too soon, maybe those kids are about to get the hope they need:
