Just ask yourself if we’d even be having this conversation if Letterman had made the same joke about one of the Obama girls.

The way to nail Letterman is to make sure you got your Tivo or BeyondTV or some other that reports what you record and set it to another program at Letterman's timeslot. If Conan, for example, is getting twice the viewers, Letterman will get the axe, pay loads of money for not keeping ratings, etc.

Why fire him? Cause he insulted some people? The list is too long and life is short.

Don Imus apologized and sincerely. He was canned.
Changing his excuse to it was about an 18 year old instead of a 14 year old is no less offensive.
Imagine if Rush or Sean joked about the Obama girls.
No excuses, he crossed the line, he must go!

Announced ahead of time in the
Daily News! Plus promoted on Fox TV. When I think of all the really important issues we have protested about and got nary a blip before or after . . . It shows celebrity power. I try not to hate all celebrities, but I do hate celebrity power.
I think the protest is a good idea. I'm just saying.

Freeped the poll, altho I don’t care if he gets fired or not. I would prefer he give a personal apology to the Palin family and release it to the media. I would also prefer that he be removed because of low ratings. I never watch him, I hope no one else does either.
