To put it politely, Palin has no intellectual accomplishments. If a general election were held today, she’d be annhilated, particularly by the Messiah, whose popularity is undiminished.

She’s not stupid, though, and I think she’d do better to shake her handlers loose and just talk directly to people. She has the charm to pull it off.

It's funny isn't it, because Bush went to Harvard AND Yale, and he might as well have not graduated 6th grade.

I think the less "intellectual accomplishments" one has:

1. the more I trust that person, at least as not being part of the establishment if not all together

2. the more common sense they seem to have.

3. the more in touch they are with average Americans.
