North Korea may launch a long-range ballistic missile towards Hawaii on American Independence Day, according to Japanese intelligence officials.

The missile, believed to be a Taepodong-2 with a range of up to 4,000 miles, would be launched in early July from the Dongchang-ni site on the north-western coast of the secretive country.

Intelligence analysts do not believe the device would be capable of hitting Hawaii's main islands, which are 4,500 miles from North Korea.

Details of the launch came from the Japan's best-selling newspaper, Yomiuri Shimbun.

Both Japanese intelligence and U.S. reconnaissance satellites have collated information pointing to the launch, according to the report.

Oh, that would fit their style. N. Korea is big on symbolism and putting their adversaries off guard. Creating maximum psychological impact with very limited resource and plenty of brutality and brazenness. It is one of candidates with high likelihood, but it could come even before or after it, if they figure the change would provide them more leverage.

did you notice his face after he killed that fly? It reminded me of when one of my children did something and wanted to be sure I recognized what they did. He seemed so please with himself!

I would assume a ballistic missile could glide if it runs out of fuel at cruising altitude.

And what is generated? Relative to whom?

Everyone says “the enemy” will “generate” it. But they’re always belligerant. To me the only relevent party with terms such as “generated” or “manufactured” is the supposed “friend” side. Uhbama and his Admin and his pals.

I keep wondering if this is a “sponsored” test by China and/or Russia to see how and if we can handle ICBM’s. I think they would love to know how our anti missile technology has developed. China and Russia don’t really care about NK; however, to encourage them to take the risk, they simply throw some money and goods after the test to continue funding NK shenanigans. It is also a good opportunity for China and Russia see how “O” responds. Based on his response, China can make plans for Taiwan and Russia, it’s plans for Georgia, Ukraine, etc..

“Plan R is an emergency war plan in which a lower echelon commander may order nuclear retaliation after a sneak attack if the normal chain of command is disrupted ... The idea was for Plan R to be a sort of retaliatory safeguard.”

Which ass wipe is in charge of that?

Ol' Joe was also the one who predicted that Pres__ent 0 would have a crisis in the first 6 months.

Well, here we are. He wanted the presidency so bad, let's see how he does.

Pretty much nailed it. Thanks.

It's a sad commentary that the official in this government that would probably have the strongest reaction to an attack is probably Hillary, who, for all her feel-good socialism, can be a mean b!tch when she puts her mind to it.

I sure did notice that - typical self-absorbed teenager. He is a good poster boy for what being raised without a good father can do to a boy. They seem to have a tough time becoming men.

Is there a reason Kim Jong Il isn’t dead yet? All it takes is a well placed drop of poison or a gun or knife smuggled in.

That’s it? What is stopping one of his whores from killing him? Or the generals?

Japan hasn’t the foggiest idea how that missile is programmed. Hawaii is the feint. The other state it can reach, Alaska, is the real target. Then the Left won't have Palin to worry about anymore. :)

Yuri spelled it out clearly for us...and that was back in the early 80’s. We are watching EXACTLY what he predicted right before our very eyes.

When he killed that fly, I expected him to pick it up off the floor and eat it. I am serious....

Yes, but were you expecting him to strut around and crow about it like he did? Or that the sycophants in the room would all cheer like he'd just slammed a quart of tequila? And did you expect him to tell his minions, "Turn the teleprompter back to 'I will contrast...'"

I feel like we're on the Truman Show and this will all be revealed as a joke soon.
