Hmmmmm...maybe that’s why we’ve never seen a detailed health report on him.

I'm confident you're unlikely ever to see any of Zero's medical records. Just like you can't see any of his college records, or his passport activity. Or his Certificate of Live Birth for that matter.

He is not called "Zero" for nothing — he has ZERO "paper trail." We literally do not know WHO HE IS.

RE: the Certificate of Live Birth. It would be the easiest thing in the world for the POTUS (TOTUS) to pick up the phone, call Republican (???) Governor of Hawaii Lingle (who's put this alleged document under State seal) and say, "Hi Linda! How are ya doing? Why don't you go right ahead and release that COLB for me?"

Prediction: It will NEVER HAPPEN.

We need to be asking ourselves, WHY???

Why, indeed. How can someone go through their whole without having tons of paper to back up their existence?

His Presidential Library’s gonna be no larger than a very small linen closet!

Her name is Vera Baker, and she was the former "finance director" for his campaign.

Last anyone heard, she went to Martinique. (I presume she hasn't returned.)

If one's existence in any way depended on the production of a "paper trail," Obama would not exist. He would be a mere fiction of our imagination.

If he keeps this up, you're absolutely right: "His Presidential Library’s gonna be no larger than a very small linen closet!" Especially because this "president," who tells us he is so passionately committed to "transparency," will not even allow public access to the details or reasons for, or acts or personnel involved with, the policies that he is willy-nilly implementing on the American people without so much as a "by your leave."

Starting own company gave more family time
Chicago Tribune (IL) - Sunday, January 28, 2007
Author: Ann Therese Palmer, Special to the Tribune
During her senior year as an economics major at Harvard, Adela Cepeda wasn’t sure what kind of job she wanted after graduation.

“My economics adviser told me to take the most quantitative job that I could,” she remembers. “That turned out being much more intimidating than going to Harvard.”

Cepeda, who at age 6 emigrated to the United States from Colombia with her parents and siblings, took an offer to be an analyst at the investment firm Smith Barney.

(snip)

Cepeda, 48, is now co-founder and chairman of Alta Capital Group LLC, a Chicago-based full-service municipal bond broker-dealer, as well as founder and president of A.C. Advisory Inc., a municipal financing advisory firm.

Q. How did you select Harvard for your undergraduate degree?

A. In 11th grade, when my guidance counselor, my parents and I met to discuss where I’d apply to college, my counselor suggested putting Harvard, Yale and Princeton on the list. I didn’t know what they were. He said I was a natural for them because I had top grades and was very involved in school activities. I was accepted at all three and went to Harvard.

Everyone was so smart there. I kept wondering if I was going to find my niche. Social studies was my first choice for a major, but it had too many students. I’ve always been good in math and knew I’d have to work after graduation, so I chose economics, the practical major and Harvard’s largest.

Q. Sometimes the best-laid plans get changed due to national events or unforeseen circumstances. Did something like that change your career trajectory in any way?

A. When my three daughters were young I left Smith Barney to open Abacus, a money management firm, with two other women. The pace of travel Smith Barney expected was too much with three children under age 5.

Shortly afterward my husband, Albert Maule, a Chicago attorney, died of multiple myeloma. Originally, when I’d helped start Abacus, I thought I’d go back into the corporate sector when my daughters were older. But after he died it seemed better to have my own business to have flexibility for my daughters.

Q. You’re involved in many prominent Chicago philanthropies, such as the Chicago Community Trust and WTTW-TV. How do you balance work-life-volunteerism so that you don’t burn out?

A. My girls were very young when their father died. I’ve been a single parent for 11 years. My top priority is to mentor my daughters. I’m very focused on their academics and their business plans.

I also feel a tremendous sense of obligation to the Latino community here. I was given many opportunities because I was a Latina or a woman. But I’ve learned that I can’t be stretched thinly. I’ve got to prioritize what’s important when someone asks me to do something, and what will have the greatest impact on the community.

I like the book title in the photo. If it were “Big Behind” she could hawk it as an autobiography.
Have you heard of the KFC Hillary Special? Two small breasts, two large thighs, and a left wing.
Served with a complimentary dessert of humble pie.

Over the line.

Actually, Rush (I'm pretty sure it was Rush) once had a website called "Slap Hillary"... www.SlapHillary.com, and they had Hillary saying various stupid things she said, and you could press a button and a hand would come out and slap her.
