We (the government) will decide if you are too old to live.

STURM:My question to you is, outside the medical criteria for prolonging life for somebody elderly, is there any consideration that can be given for a certain spirit, a certain joy of living, quality of life? Or is it just a medical cutoff at a certain age?

[Snip]

GIBSON: But the money may not have been there for her pacemaker or for your grandmother's hip replacement.

[Snip]

OBAMA: But what we can do is make sure that at least some of the waste that exists in the system that's not making anybody's mom better, that is loading up on additional tests or additional drugs that the evidence shows is not necessarily going to improve care, that at least we can let doctors know and your mom know that, you know what? Maybe this isn't going to help. Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller.

And those kinds of decisions between doctors and patients, and making sure that our incentives are not preventing those good decision, and that -- that doctors and hospitals all are aligned for patient care, that's something we can achieve.

Edwin Black’s The War Against The Weak advances your opinion about Progressivism. His cast of characters reads like a roll call of early 1900s to 1940s progressivism. His subtitle is chilling, It Began on long Island and Ended in Auschwitz. Nuff said!

You’re right...have you figured out their motive(s) yet? Why are they so bent on killing the infirm, the unborn and the old? What is it with this craziness that the left possesses on this issue?

I fixed a typo in a previous post. I intended to say make the environmentalists “happy” not “happen”.

Yes, and Soylent Green too. In fact, it could be made with a message that would make the environmentalists happy. You know, recycle, reuse, yada, yada, yada.

One thing is certain. When Congress gives Obama the ability to make life and death choices for Americans,it is over my Friends. If your above the age of Retirement & on Medicare. You are in even deeper trouble. America will soon have deep regrets for not paying attention to what Obama has been doing and will do.

Sooner or later republicans will regain the whitehouse. Will they not be able to then overturn this “killer” legislation?

SHUT UP AND DIE, GRANDMA!

One of the most galling things is that all the movies and TV shows that are full of righteous anger at evil, insensitive insurance companies which “refuse” to give “life-saving treatment” because of “money” won’t even blink at the government for doing the same thing.

I am just curious how the AARP will portray Obama’s health care plan to seniors. Normally the AARP presents the message that Republicans want seniors to eat dog food and are plotting to take all their Medicare away. But, since Obama actually does want to severely limit senior citizens’ medical care once they become old and useless eaters, how will the AARP continue to shill for Obama and the Democrat party?

TChris: that is interesting.... how do you see it? how long was obamanation groomed? by whom? for what?

Here's a nice summary of the information that's out there. (The info is spread around in many other places...)

Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

William Ayers & Co. still want to destroy America; George Soros is always ready to finance such ventures.

Barack Obama is their Pinocchio.

Just demonstrate your love and give them their dignity even though they don’t deserve sometimes. LOL.

When you make it to that age they just become very observant of you, everyone and the environment.

The only thing they want at this point in their life is spoil your kids. Give them some leeway, it won’t hurt and your children will be left with great memories.

I’ll bet their eyes just light up when you bring those children. They do it because they know that is their legacy and their relevancy.

Speaking of sharp as a tack. Last night I was visited by a friend whose mother will be 90 something and she also said her mother was sharp as a tack. I let my ego do a “one up” when she asked about my friend and I said well my Stella is “Sharp as a Stilleto” and pretty as a rainbow.

Thanks for replying to my post. I am going to see my friend early today and bring her flowers and just have a nice conversation.

Wow.
There is so much pathology in that highlighted excerpt-it should give every American nightmares.
“ We “ are going to let doctors know that their treatments aren’t working .
Republicans should take this clip and run with it.
Obama’s use of “ mothers “ is interesting.
Considering his own troubled and ambivalent relationship with his mother.
Refusing to visit his dying mother was very passive aggressive.

That is what the fools that voted for obama wanted.... Not exactly they wanted the free ride he promised. They wanted to live off the blood and work of others. They made the mistake of believing one of Satan’s emissaries.

Anyone over 50 will be too old.

I'm not convinced it will stop at age. Will those with debilitating lifelong illnesses such as MS, or those with debilitating injuries such as paralysis, or those born with genetic defects such as various types of dwarfism or blindness be given care??? Will they be valuable to the state? Will it save money to NOT take care of any of these people??? How about our military veterans with serious debilitating wounds received on the battlefield be deemed too unworthy? It goes on and on.........

The government’s decision as to who will and will not live only applies to Pubs and those who are in disagreement with it.
Our problem here in America is that there is no nation on earth that could possibly rescue us as we did in Europe. God bless the 2nd Amendment.

If I knew you and you knew her you would automatically be on the invite.

Her daughter wants no restrictions on the number of attendees.

And the old people believed them.

And as they kill them they will tell them that it is the Republican’s fault. And they will believe them.

After all, the Democrats told them that they were the Party for the “little people”. They are too stupid to open their eyes and see for themselves.
