If you missed the Mark Levin show from yesterday you missed allot, and are still suffering from Liberal media fog.

He had a terrific show on why Palin is stepping down. Ignore ALL what the media is telling you. She is not cut & running. She is cutting dead weight. She is removing a mill stone from her neck. She is freeing her self up for a serious run for the Whitehouse. Mark Levin made some great observations, and playing cuts of Palin herself, I am pretty certain Levin is right.

Mark Levin archive July 3rd. Worth listening to.

She's not looking at 2012; but in eight years by 2016 she will be far more savvy, still young, and far more experienced.

Nope. The country will not survive 8 years of zerobama.

I agree with what VDH says with the possible exception that she has to convince anyone that she is a charismatic Margaret Thatcher type heavyweight.

Margaret Thatcher wasn’t trying to be a type of anyone else, nor was Ronald Reagan. They were being themselves. That is why we use them as examples, and are inspired by them.

Sarah’s own character and core beliefs are guiding her to make her own choices and decisions along her way. That is the foundation for greatness. It can’t be faked. She either has it within her, or she doesn’t.

The things she has encountered along her way, so far, have strengthened her. There is no reason to believe that won’t continue to be the case as she continues to broaden her experiences. Hopefully, sometime in the future another generation will be searching for another strong Sarah Palin type.

You are correct, and more power to Sarah.

Here are some facts, and some history. Grover Cleveland, and Woodrow Wilson were elected President of the US, and were two year Gov. of their states. (so much for Sarah not having enough experience)

Another two year Gov. was taken from obscurity, and made a VP by his party. He didn’t want the job. He was forced to take it by his party. Then, in a smoke filled room, a man stood up and said, “That cowboy is one breath away from the Presidency!”......McKinley was unfortunately assassinated. And another Moose hunter, Teddy Roosevelt, became one of our greatest Presidents............

Sarah has incredible potential. I have watched at least 25 of her speeches, and she is the real deal.......

“I like Sarah Palin, and I’ve heartily enjoyed her arrival on the national stage. As a career classroom teacher, I can see how smart she is and quite frankly, I think the people who don’t see it are the stupid ones, wrapped in the fuzzy mummy-gauze of their own worn-out partisan dogma.”

As long as I live, I will never figure this woman out ;-)

The only problem I have is everyone of these guys is holding her to a higher standard. She is no better or worst then Mitt or Huck but nobody questions them. It is unfair to treat a women differently.

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head here. Sarah ran for public office under the former understanding that children were off limits. Pres. Bush’s daughters were sniped at, but it was not too out of control, bad though it was. What they’ve done to Palin’s family should be a crime, and people should serve prison time for it.

This is much like the former understanding that partisan politics ended at the waters edge. Nothing is off limits for the bolsheviks. Nothing. And must not be for us, distasteful though that may be.

The wild card: The Lady has proven she can draw a crowd, which means she can raise money. To paraphrase Pres. Bush, sometimes money trumps ahhhhh.... ummmm... truth... in politics.

The internet has allowed cowards on the Left a place to attack from. Like you said, here’s hoping there are some “Riddick”-like gladiators on the right who can take on this battle.

But she's not going to have a chance in the 2016 primaries with Limbaugh as the incumbant Republican President.

A guy can wish, can't he?

Seeing her demeanor yesterday, she seemed really rattled and in pain

"Rattled like a fox!"

Does that look like relief it's all over? Or anticipation of one hell of a dogfight to come, where she's just rewritten the rules of the game.

You expect too much from her. She’s not Joan of Arc. She’s Sarah of Alaska and her family needs her.
