Muslims hate, invade, upset and/or create violent chaos in;

Iran, Iraq, France, China, The Philippines, Pakistan, Russia, Bosnia, Spain, England, Israel, India, Indonesia ...

Those are all I can remember.

The comments indicate the video is from Xinjiang China; that it shows a crowd of “separatists”; and that there was a bomb attack on Han Chinese.

(Reuters) - Rioting erupted in China’s restive far west Xinjiang region on Sunday, killing three people when locals burnt vehicles and blocked traffic in the regional capital Urumqi, the state news agency reported.

Here are some facts about the region.

* Xinjiang in China’s far northwest is the country’s largest provincial-level administrative unit by area. It covers one-sixth of the country, but is relatively sparsely populated with a population of around 20 million.

* It is home to 8 million Uighurs, a Turkic, largely Islamic people who share linguistic and cultural bonds with Central Asia. Many resent the growing Han Chinese economic dominance in Xinjiang, as well as government controls on religion and culture.

* Along with Tibet, Xinjiang is one of the most politically sensitive regions in China, and in both cases the government has sought to maintain its grip by controlling religious and cultural life while also vowing economic growth and prosperity.

* Xinjiang was hit by some attacks before and during last year’s Olympic Games in Beijing. Chinese security officials blamed the violence on independence-seeking Uighur militants. Sixteen armed police were killed in a bomb and stabbing attack in the far western city of Kashgar.

* The government has accused militant Uighurs of working with Islamist militant group al Qaeda to bring about an independent East Turkestan by violent means.

* Human rights groups say China has used its support for the U.S.-led fight against al Qaeda to justify a wider crackdown on Uighurs, including arbitrary arrests, closed-door trials and use of the death penalty.

* Xinjiang borders Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. It has abundant oil reserves and is China’s largest natural gas producing region.

* 17 Uighur Chinese nationals were detained at the United States’ military prison at Guantanamo Bay, after being swept up in security operations following the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan after the September 11, 2001, hijacking attacks.

* Four of the Uighur detainees in Guantanamo were recently released to Bermuda. Their lawyers said the four men never took hostile action against the United States. The other 13 are also looking for a country to take them after the United States found no basis to keep holding them.

I didn't expect to need the side of a bus.

Last week there was a huge ethnic conflict between Muslim
Uiurh and ethnic Chinese in a large toy factory in ShaoGuan, Guangzhou province.

According to Chinese blogs, the company (XuRi Toy factory) hired 800 Muslim workers from XinJiang province last month. The workers there live in those row apartments. The Muslim think they can just go to the female domitary grab a girl whenever they want sex. Three girls have been gang raped in the last few weeks. One girl reportedly commited suicide. The police arrested the perps, but let them out in a few days. Last week they kidnapped another girl, she cried for help, two men intervened and a fight broke out. The Uiurhs called in 70 with knives and steel bars to join the fight, then more chinese workers joined in (They disassembled their steel bunker bed for weapon).
According to report, some 5000 Chinese workers fought the 800 Muslims and it was a mess.

The complaint I heard from Chinese blog was that Chinese government is afraid of Muslim unrest from the Western provinces and hurting international image, has been treating the Muslims with kid gloves. The one country, two law system has caused racial resentment from ethnic Chinese as they see Muslim law breakers were let off hook easily.

Chinese government officials have visited the Muslims in the hospital, but have arrested a worker who first reported gang rape incidents at the factory on charges of lying and inciting racial hatred.

The unrest from Muslims in XinJiang is very likely the result of what happened in ShaoGuan.

Root for all the oppressed people in China, Han and non-Han Chinese. However, in this case, we are dealing with a people who have become a minority in their own land (East Turkestan) thanks to Han colonization.
I'm for China breaking apart on ethnic lines and having the Muslim world pay attention to real oppression in China, which would end the Chinese-Islamist alliance against the west.
