...That’s why Popes are almost always off on this stuff. They’re Europeans. Americans (well, until recently) surpassed everyone in economic practice.

Where does the Pope condemn any of these things in his encyclical above?

not condemn them to perpetual poverty through outdated, collectivist fallacies.

What is described in this encyclical is not collectivist communism so much as distributism. There is a big difference. Look it up.
