Obama Dines In, to Some Russians' Distaste
New York Times ^ | July 7, 2009 | PETER BAKER

Posted on 07/07/2009 11:29:17 AM PDT by FocusNexus

After passing on dinner with the French president to take a date in the City of Light with his wife last month, President Obama took leave of his Russian hosts on Tuesday night to seclude himself in his Moscow hotel with Michelle and their daughters.

The decision to brush off the Russians on one of his two nights here miffed some in the Moscow government who did not understand why he would not devote the scarce time to his hosts.

Mr. Obama has seemed tired here, several times fumbling the pronunciation of Mr. Medvedev’s name and Mr. Putin’s title. Beginning a speech here, he mistakenly said he first met his wife in school instead of at the law firm where they actually met. And he misstated his youngest daughter’s age.

Speaking of O in Russia.

From Newt's Tweet: "The obama russian speech was more pro american and more positive about america's role in the world There is much in it to support."

In case we needed another reason to send this guy out to pasture.

Indeed. No one can live a lie. Two excellent sources on this subject: the Old and New Testament.

Just what will be accomplished in a one day visit [by Obama to Ghana] that warrants the trouble and expense ?

No telling.

Trivia:

Kingdom Holdings is already active in Ghana, where it owns a stake in the Cal Merchant Bank and attempted in 1999 to buy into Ashanti Goldfields company. ---- "Africa Energy Intelligence: Saudis Take a Look," May 7, 2003 104 posted on 06/26/2004 8:23:53 PM PDT by Shermy

Kingdom Holdings ties into the Holy Land terror charity case.

No.... I will not. That hair was not appropriate, neither was dragging them along. It was rude. That hair was disgusting. That kid is old enough to look in the mirror. WTF were they thinking? No wonder Putin has no respect and let the Kenyan have it up one side and down the other. How ironic that I find myself cheering for Putin, he seems the lesser of the 2 evils.

Exactly. A made up story to hide his gayness. No name, no pictures, nobody recalls him ever having a girlfriend. I have some swampland in the Glades if anyone seriously believes that crock.

I’ve been in three orphanages in Russia, and none of them were horror stories, but I still wouldn’t take a child under twelve or thirteen. I’m still haunted by the eyes of some of the kids I met. You just don’t forget that kind of thing.

Even stupid Joe Biden doesn’t hate his country.

The problem with Biden is that he doesn't know which country is his.

IMAN works actively with American-Iranian Council (AIC), a pro-regime lobbying group and another antisanction lobbying group known as the World Political Action Committee. IMAN helped raise an estimated $30,000 into Sen. Biden's re-election coffers. The AIC is funded by hefty contributions from Conoco and other U.S. oil companies seeking to get a piece of the potentially lucrative Iranian petrochemicals sector.   --------------- Biden Buddies Up to Pro-Iran Lobby (March 4, 2002)   http://www.insightmag.com/main.cfm?include=detail&storyid=195020

My kids all go on mission trips all through high school, and starting in middle school work at an inner city church (through high school, actually). In my opinion, that’s early enough. Prior to that, they can participate by saving their money to give to special mission collections that the kids participate in.

Even stupid Joe Biden doesn’t hate his country.

The other problem with Biden is that he doesn't love his country- or any country:

OCTOBER 2003 midmonth : (NORWAY : EUROPEAN SOCIALISTS MEET WITH TOP US DEMOCRATS, INCLUDING HILLARY CLINTON, JOSEPH BIDEN [See John Kerry, Barack Hussein Obama {see Weather Underground terrorist group, Antoin Rezco |see Syria|, Nadhmi Auchi |see UK, Saddam Hussein, IRAQ |}}], RON KLAIN [see Wesley Clark]AND STAN GREENBERG, {FORMER CLINTON CAMPAIGN STRATEGIST}) Norway's Labour Party is joining other European social democrats in linking up with the Democrats in the US. The goal is to be prepared with common strategies if a majority of them on both sides of the Atlantic come back to power. A group of European social democrats, led by former British Foreign Minister Robin Cook, met last week with several top Democratic politicians and party officials. They included US senators Hilary Clinton and Joseph Biden. They also had meetings with Ron Klain of presidential candidate Wesley Clark's campaign, and Stan Greenberg, former US President Bill Clinton's campaign strategist in 1992. On the agenda was European concern over current US foreign policy and the effects of globalization. Espen Barth Eide, who led the Norwegian delegation, said the group met "understanding" that "economic globalization must be accompanied by political globalization." There remain wide differences between the European social democrats and their counterparts in the US, who tend to be far more conservative. Barth Eide called it "natural" however, "to begin with those (in the US) who are closest to us (in ideology), even though the Democrats of course aren't social democrats."--- "Norwegian Labour Party Forges Ties With US Democrats," Norway Aftenposten, October 23, 2003

When you lie as routinely as Obama does, I’m sure it’s difficult to keep all the stories straight.
