Obama Dines In, to Some Russians' Distaste

After passing on dinner with the French president to take a date in the City of Light with his wife last month, President Obama took leave of his Russian hosts on Tuesday night to seclude himself in his Moscow hotel with Michelle and their daughters.

The decision to brush off the Russians on one of his two nights here miffed some in the Moscow government who did not understand why he would not devote the scarce time to his hosts.

Mr. Obama has seemed tired here, several times fumbling the pronunciation of Mr. Medvedev’s name and Mr. Putin’s title. Beginning a speech here, he mistakenly said he first met his wife in school instead of at the law firm where they actually met. And he misstated his youngest daughter’s age.

Leave the kids out of it - they didn't choose to be where they are - God did. We are outraged but do not need to lower ourselves to that level. We don't go after the kids because its reflects poorly on our character and indeed, our faith if we do, and will only confirm to them and others what they have been and will be taught about the mythical intolerance of those who oppose what their father's doing to this country. And if you're not religious, then at least consider that criticizing the kids makes you look little different than those who believe attacking Palin's down syndrome infant is fair game and part of 'reasoned' political debate.

The biggest critic of sandinista Daniel Ortega is his own daughter, whom he abused; had his opposition made her a target she might have joined the sandinistas rather than oppose them later in life.

And there's no point in thinking warm and fuzzy for the 'least' of two evils when both are for all practical purposes in pursuit of the same goal though for different schemes-- eliminating US missile defense.

Please don’t tell me what to do. It was about the hair. I have children. At that age, they know if their hair looks like a freak show. It was a statement. You may live in lala land and believe all kids are innocent. At that age, they aren’t. You have to remember they sat in Wright’s church every week since they were born. They were brought up on radical hatred since the day they were born. I have no reason to expect they will be any different than their disgusting, hateful, parents. Combine a little ADD with dyslexia or poor memory and it's entirely possible. I've seen this happen many times, right along with mixing up names of one's own children. I happen to believe "the Undocumented One" trips over his lies, but he may also have a learning disability for all we know. We haven't seen enough of his records to know one way or the other.
