Huckabee 'Concerned' About Palin Possibly Forming 3rd Party (And what's wrong with that?)
Fox News ^

So she has a role to play. Whether she runs or not, she has an important voice, and I hope she remains -- let me be real clear -- a part of the Republican Party. I'm a little concerned when I hear her say that she may sort of branch out and go third party or go independent. That would be a big mistake because we need to rebuild the Republican Party, not abandon it.

Sarah's got the liberals and GOP freaked! It's becoming more evident every day that the GOP has been consumed by liberalism.

There have been reports that Sarah might form her own party. I think a lot of Americans have had ENOUGH with both the Democrats and the Republicans. We need something new!

SARAH would bring so many people together in a new party. She would be the first third-party candidate to win the presidency! And the GOP would see their millions of dollars in donations evaporate.

Wasn’t Teddy Roosevelt a third party (The Bull Moose Party)

Maybe Sarah should bring the Bull Moose Party back.

I am in.

What’s wrong with that? How about 4 more years of Obama?

That’s OK, Mr. Huckabee, I have concerns about you ever becoming an elected executive again, as well.

Raise taxes, using race as a qualifier, and releasing convicted murderers, to name just a few.

I didn’t leave the Party of Ronald Reagan.

The Party left Ronald Reagan.

Oh, so the Huckster and his RINO enablers are suddenly worried that Sarah Palin is going to lead Conservatives out of their wilderness, leaving the RINOs to rut around in the Democrat desert on their own.

Funny, how they were all celebrating her political demise, as they put it, last week. Now, they're suddenly scared.

If we let the Government Run Media pick our leaders like they did with McCain, we are going to have Obama for four more years anyway.

I would rather vote for someone than vote against someone.

I am tired of the lesser of two evils.

Sarah has never said she is forming a third party.

She said she was going to campaign for anyone, Democrat, Republican, Independent, or whatever, that believes in smaller government, energy independence, and a strong national defense.

I don’t kwow where Huckabee is getting his information.

So who are we going to rebuild the R party around, Huck? You?!

I don't see another Reagan on the horizon. There may be one just under the horizon but I don't see them yet.

If Governor Palin starts a third party, or joins a third party, The R party is dead and can never win an election till, at least, after 2012.

uh, yeah. The Bull Moose Party did wonders.

It elected Woodrow Wilson.

Thanks, but no thanks.

(I love TR...but his political legacy is not exactly what conservatives should love about him)

I will stand with Mrs. Palin. The Republican party needs a wake-up call, and it seems from the news, it’s getting one.

Sarah Palin isn't leaving the GOP. The GOP is doing their level best to leave her and millions of other conservatives.

If the GOP wants to avoid a third party, they need to renounce RINOism, embrace Reaganism, and offer a clear alternative to the Dems - an alternative that looks after the interests of the middle class, not the ruling class. But of course the GOP pom-pom squad on FR will instead blame the conservatives for not being willing to vote for liberal lite any longer.

Palin may or may not be the right person for 2012 or 2016. But she sure as heck is one of the few who is giving voice to the concerns of conservatives against the federal behemoth when the establishment GOP wants only to regain control of such for their own personal power, as opposed to putting it on a diet.

I’m with Levin on this.

No third party; track record is too lousy.

Better to stomp out and exterminate those who don’t belong.

Let’s go ahead and make it between Sarah and Zero, once he’s destroyed our economy. Instead of Mitt, Sarah, and Zero, which will only guarantee the end of the Republic.

Palin is not trying to create a third party, she is trying force Republicans to return to conservative roots. She is offering to campaign for any CONSERVATIVE, regardless of party affiliation.

NO MORE RINOS!

Whats wrong with that is it would give Obama a certain 2nd term. Glenn dumbass Beck would love it, but it would most certainly be the most foolsih thing Sarah could do.

Even if 40 percent of republicans switched to a third party the Dems would still win.

These days you gotta fish or cut bait. I am ready for some guts to come to the conservatives. So, if we have to cut the rinos loose - so be it. They were half way down the Democrat koolade line anyway.
