Two points come to mind. One. I believe they are referring to rapidly dividing cells. Second. This will have very important applications for space travel.

Let me see if I’ve got this straight...
Jews try to find the cure to radiation poisoning for the good of mankind...
Muslims are scrambling to develop nuclear weapons and dirty bombs to kill the Jews, and destroy western civilization...
Nuff said...

To be fair, weve had nuclear power for decades too but weve been limiting ours to pushing around a navy. Not really. There are quite a few reactors generating electric power in the US, as seen on this map. But that's not even close to being enough and the ecowackos, nimbys, no nukers, and watermelons (in other words democRats) have shut down our abliity to add to this capacity.

It depends where you are located near “ground zero”. Your location will determine the amount to radiation you absorb.

In 1945, physicist Harry Daghlian was working on a 6.2 kg spherical mass of plutonium at the Los Alamos laboratory. He was stacking bricks of tungsten carbide around the plutonium core when he noticed a nearby neutron counter signaling that the addition of the final brick would make the assembly supercritical. Daghlian immediately withdrew his hand ... and the brick slipped onto the center of the plutonium core and the assembly went critical. Daghlian was able to dissemble the bricks (the core didn’t The plutonium core was later named the “Demon Core” and was put to use in the Able test of the Operation Crossroads nuclear weapon test at the Bikini Atoll in the summer of 1946.
