Boxer raised nearly one-and-a-half million dollars during the second quarter. In a press release, she called the support gratifying. The Democratic senator is seeking a fourth six-year term.
A spokeswoman says Boxers conducted prodigious and early fundraising in preparation for a possible challenge from former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina. The 54-year-old Republican says shes seriously considering entering the race.
She has little political experience beyond her work as an economic advisor to Senator John McCain during last years presidential campaign. But Fiorina has extraordinary wealth that could make her a strong candidate.
A recent Field Poll predicted that Boxer would beat Fiorina in a landslide, but the election is a full year-and-a-half away.

The defeat of Barbara Boxer is a moral imperative. She is in contention for the most obnoxious, arrogant, and ignorant leftists in the U.S. Senate. Think what her defeat in California would signal to the nation.

The only thing Boxer can probably dig up on Fiorina is her performance at Lucent Technologies. Anything is better than Boxer.

She was fired from HP, but again, anything would be better than Boxer.

Carly should get some sound bites.
Oh, and while you’re at it, a few from her House days when she bounced checks and never made good on them might show her Princess Babs approach to life.

Fiorina also has plenty of screw-ups at Hewlett-Packard when she was their CEO,and she’s a RINO instead of a conservative. No more RINOs, ever, win or lose!

Yeah, she appears to be another globalist, unfortunately.

Of course we’re talking about the same moron who directed a general to address he as “Senator” because she worked soooo hard for the title. More like hardly worked. Too many politicians have never really worked at a business, large or small, with all the rsposibilities such a job would entail.

Babs has got the safest seat in the senate (other than maybe Teddy), so she’ll continue along as designated attack bitch for as long as she likes.
