I actually downloaded and read the portion in question. It is not on page 416.

The portion in question seems to be under (sdtarting on page 424):

SEC. 1233. ADVANCE CARE PLANNING CONSULTATION.

(a) MEDICARE.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—Section 1861 of the Social 18 Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395x) is amended-

...and on page 426, there is this:

"E) An explanation by the practitioner of the continuum of end-of-life services and supports available, including palliative care and hospice, and benefits for such services and supports that are available under this title.

This is to be held every five years. Pallative care is comfort for the terminally ill, hospice care is health care for the terminally ill.

That's all I could find, and found no provisions for assited suicide counseling.

You have to read what it means not what it says. It is disguised as something that is really helpful, you know sort of like the Jews taking sanitizing showers before, entering the work camp quarters.

Cr@p people this is already a fact in this country. A single federal judge ruled in Colorado, that any Doctor could assist in suicide and not be charged with a crime. Notice there is no proof required that the person being assisted has to know he is being assisted. Oregon, also offers suicide pills when treatments become too expensive.

The right to die with dignity cr@p has never been about the right to die with dignity, but about the right of the state to terminate you.

Also, this doesn't mandate anything on the part of the patient. It merely adds "advance care planning", including planning for "end of life decisions", to the things covered by Medicare. It doesn't require counseling every five years, but rather requires the government to pay for it as long as the patient doesn't receive it more than once every five years, except in special circumstances.

I wish people would actually read the bill rather than go ape$h!t every time they see "end of life care." Believe me, there's PLENTY not to like about this bill without inventing sensational stuff like this.
