Just saw it. Liz is really good. Im not a big fan of the whole birther thing. It just doesnt get me all rowled up like other things. This health bill is giving me pains at night. I think this sudden interest in the birthers by the MSM is a ploy somehow. Palin? Lets talk about how crazy the Republicans are not how Obama is ruining our country... Rather than viewing the reaction to the birther movement as a distraction consider it as thermometer which measures the degree of dissatisfaction among the electorate and, not insignificantly, measures the unease among the media in their uncritical support of Obama.

The greater the dissatisfaction (read fear) in the electorate, the more open they are to the issue. The more the media reports on the birth certificate issue, the more willing they are to challenge the infallibility of Obama which heretofore they had put off-limits.

The first line of defense by the left and the leftist media against the birther movement has been to ignore them to death in the media, defeat them in the courts, and belittle them into irrelevancy. Sounds like Bill Clinton in the Monica Lewinsky affair. This line of defense is being breached. Fewer and fewer people who were victims of the Obama pathology are willing to leave unanswered one simple question:

Where is the birth certificate?

It's important to realize that if we can conjure up doubt about the legitimacy of The One, that's all that's necessary.

What foreign government is going to entangle itself with a President who doesn't have support of his people, let alone one who has the potential to be tossed out of office?

What Congressional leader is going to let herself be pummeled when she can easily be shoring up for her own run in 2012? Do you think Nancy Pelosi would lift a finger to help 0bama with ANYTHING if she thought that weakening him would help her?

The only thing that can help 0bama now is a national emergency like a terrorist strike or a total financial collapse.

I don't believe this bunch has the balls to pull off the former, but I believe they have the mendacity to allow the latter.
