Joan Walsh at Salon has an interesting blog post lambasting Liz Cheney’s appearance on the Larry King Show tonight. She throws a fit over Cheney “defending” Birthers on Larry King’s show and acts like this is the biggest political suicide ever. For those who are not aware of what a “birther” is, this is the Conservative equivalent to the “truthers” on the left who claim they just want the truth about 9/11, but really just want to subtly blame George Bush for blowing up the Trade Center. Birther’s believe that Obama is not qualified to be President of the United States because he was actually born in Kenya or Indonesia or in Hawaii before it was a state, or any variety of conspiracies that invalidate the Obama’s eligibility to be President. They claim that since Obama never has provided a Certificate of Live Birth issued by the State of Hawaii, that this proves he is hiding his true birth place. Personally I don’t think that, but I do think there is something on the COB that he wants to hide, like he is Muslim or something.

It's important to realize that if we can conjure up doubt about the legitimacy of The One, that's all that's necessary.
What foreign government is going to entangle itself with a President who doesn't have support of his people, let alone one who has the potential to be tossed out of office?
What Congressional leader is going to let herself be pummeled when she can easily be shoring up for her own run in 2012? Do you think Nancy Pelosi would lift a finger to help 0bama with ANYTHING if she thought that weakening him would help her?
The only thing that can help 0bama now is a national emergency like a terrorist strike or a total financial collapse.
I don't believe this bunch has the balls to pull off the former, but I believe they have the mendacity to allow the latter.

Well, at one time, I would have agreed with you. But now, and the longer this goes on the more it will become imperative, I really wouldn’t be satisfied until Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate, which he admits to having in his book, is placed beside a certified copy of Hawaii’s long-form birth certificate and allow at least three forensic document experts (one of which being appointed by WND) to examine them both, side by side.

We need to think about what it is that ties together the BC, school records from kindergarten through law school, passport, and any other documents he has locked down. What is the common thread? I don’t think it is something as minor as being listed as “Mulatto,” let’s say. (I’m using that only as an example, since I don’t know if that word was in vogue in 1961.) I keep going back to citizenship as the common thread.
Then just for the sake of conversation please tell us how Obama qualifies as a Natural Born citizen?

If you saw it on a web page, the image is in your browser cache, unless your preferences are set to empty the cache at a certain interval.
I don’t know what browser you’re using, but as an example I’m using Safari, on a MacBook. If you go into the directory, there will be a folder within a folder named “cache” or similar, probably in a folder named the same as your browser, where every single image from every single web page you’ve visited is stored. Open a program on your computer that allows you to view JPEG files, PhotoShop, PhotoElements, CorelDraw, even Pixelpaint would work, and go through the cache.
If you saw it, this is how you’ll find it.
This was a forged image made from a forged image, which is so easy to do that I did in two minutes. It amounts to garbage. Jay McKinnon had initially claimed that he was the one that forged Obama’s COLB. A week later, he recanted and admitted that he made up the story.
The story about McKinnon’s claims led to the creation of the longest running thread on FR, aka, “Uh-Oh,” and you can find it under certifigate.
I don’t know why on every NBC thread there aren’t photos of the ORIGINAL ‘BIRTHERS’ McCaskill, Obama, Leahy, etal hashing out Sen. Resolution 511, trying massage the natural-born citizenship of McCain.

Didn't know that. That, (and forging credible attending identities) makes the task of forging Obama's bc damn near impossible, I'd say.
This is why we haven't seen one, and why Obama still refuses to release the original.
Now that this story is gaining even more traction in the press, the damage to Barry will only get worse and worse, as he continues to resist disclosure.
Why do you think that governments have been forced to adopt all manner of high tech anti-counterfeiting measures to their currencies? Even some of the most sophisticated art collectors, experts, and museums have been fooled by master forgers.
Then Dr. Rodney West’s paper trail will have to put him in the exact time and place of Obama’s birth. There’s still the matter of any other attending nurses, administrators, or witnesses. All of their paper trails have to intersect at the same point in space and time, too.
But, the hardest part will be falsifying the sequential registration number. They’d have to find someone born in that hospital, on that date (or close to it), then scrub that person’s entire existence from every database in order to insert Barry’s phony bc in the sequence.
It’s a tall order, no matter how you look at it.
Then, there’s the little matter of the possible existence of a Kenyan bc. If that exists, you can rest assured that enemies of the US already have copies of it, and are using it as leverage against Odumbo.
But, that possibility is admittedly just speculation.

Dr. Rodney West was practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Straub (Women's) Clinic which was supposedly located at 410 South Beretania Street in Honolulu in 1961. In 1970 a new 159-bed hospital was built for the Straub Clinic. Many satellite office were opened. In 2001 Straub merged with Kapi'olani, which is why I believe Obama claims he was born at Kapi'olani Hospital. I believe the original location of Straub Clinic has since been torn down (not confirmed) so it's anyone's guess where Dr. West's records are. He passed away last year. It leaves open a good excuse for why Kapi'olani has no records for Ann Dunham.
I think they've been working on the things you've listed for about a year. If they've selected an Obstetrician who was practicing there in 1961 and a Certificate number, the other details aren't that difficult to work out. It won't be hard to find out who Dr. West's attending nurses were.
Unfortunately, my cache is emptied periodically and it’s been several months since I saw that form on the Hawaiian gov’t.’s web site. It’s long gone by now.

I wonder who's records they had to scrub to obtain that number? We'll probably never know. They'll make sure of that.
Hmm... now, that would be very hard to fake.
Personally, I've got two original birth certificates. One is the official long form, which is on file with the state, and the other is the hospital certificate. I'm sure the one that has my footprints is the hospital cert.
The hospital certificate isn't acceptable for use as proof of identification for government agencies, so this may never even come up with Obama's.
