I would say one way to clear this up is the movement started in a number of states where any candidate for President must prove his natural born citizenship in order for him to receive any votes. If that is done, Obama will have to prove to all the states that he is a natural born citizen before the 2012 election.

I agree! States could fix this immediately by demanding candidates submit proof they meet constitutional requirements to their SOS's for certification in order to get on their ballots. But that's for NEXT time.

Like it or not, Barrack Obama is our President now & even if it were proven tomorrow that he was born on Mars, he couldn't be removed from office now - it'd take YEARS of court procedure just to get him to answer a subpoena! Meanwhile he gets to wreak irrevocable harm on future generations while everybody's examining arcane minutiae of longform Hawaii birth certificates!

Ya gotta hand it to them: BHO & his crooked Chicago posse have found a nifty little Alinskyesque loophole here, no doubt about it, and no doubt also they're cynically stoking their opposition's nagging suspicion he's somehow 'unamerican' for all it's worth & to great effect in order to get their anti-american agenda rammed through right now.

Please explain how some proposed state bill that may or may not ever become law before or after 2012 has any significance on the 2008 election and current presidency? That, my FRiend, is smoke and mirrors and a major distraction. Better yet, how about we just abide by the laws already on the books, i.e. the Constitution of the United States?
