(IsraelNN.com) Starting in late July, a group of Israeli combat veterans will be holding a training camp in New York to teach advanced self-defense techniques to Jews in U.S. communities. An increasing number of American Jews have expressed interest in the program following a wave of anti-Semitic incidents worldwide over the past year, organizers report.
The group calls itself Kitat Konenut New York – a reference to the “rapid response teams” active throughout Judea and Samaria. Rapid response teams in Israel, comprised of local civilians who are IDF veterans, have often been the first on the scene of terrorist attacks and other emergencies, and have prevented casualties.

I was thinking the same thing...self defense is nice, but your right to bear arms is A LOT better!

Jews are probably safer in this country than they are in Israel. I don’t know why these training camps are peddling this alternate persecution mythology.
Jews and Conseratives might benefit from IDF training. I don’t live in New York, but sounds good to me.
True for now - take a look at what’s going on in France and the UK and Belgium with the raghead imports. More hajjis in this country and Jews (and Americans, Christians, non-hijab wearing girls, gays, liberals, and goats) won’t be so safe.
New York City gun laws are almost impossible unless you are a big, rich libtard and can afford armed guards.
In New York, self defense begins with a Bloomberg speech telling you how unnecessary guns are. Then, of course, there’s 911 should you run into courteous, fair-minded thugs willing to wait while your help shows up.
Good for them. Hopefully, the American Jews won’t quietly walk to the gas chambers the same way their Euro cousins did. Unfortunately, they almost unanimously voted for the one President who would most likely herd them into the trains. At least the German Jews didn’t vote for Hitler en masse.
IDF, more than likely, can train citizens to defend themselves in any manner of ways.

If theyre rich enough, they can get pistol permits. Its just the working folks that cant get em.
If they have a 12 ga pump in their residence or business, it’s better than just a cross word.

(While it's almost impossible to get a handgun permit in NYC unless you're a celebrity like Howard Stern, rifle and shotgun permits are easier)
Not all Jews are stupid. It just seems that way sometimes. :(
Great idea. Glad to hear it. And elsewhere, Jewish members of Congress are working to bring about comprehensive amnesty, and Jewish immigration lawyers are working to bring more groups into the US who generally hate all Jews, and also working to see that none are deported.
Even more IDF training will likely be needed in the future.
